How to Get There
We visited Todos Santos for a wedding and stayed at this hotel. The staff was very nice, spoke English (if needed). The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. We didn’t turn on the TV, but friends of ours couldn’t get theirs to work. Our windows did not open. The rooftop bar/pool was fun. Only a few lounge chairs and the pool water was cold. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were delish. We didn’t spend too much time at the pool because of the free Beach Club, which was super fun!
Best hotel, there is in Todos Santos, the pool bar with restaurant, excellent for the sunset, the staff, the minimalistic, old fashion and vintage decor, fits Todos Santos stories, and specially the story (explained at check in) of the more than 200 year building, a must if you visit Todos Santos
Prices are cheep for what you get, rooms, pool terrace, etc
the room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the staff was good, the location was excellent.
there was NO shuttle available to El Faro...had to rent a cab.
coffee in the morning only available in the upstairs café after 8am...would have liked a self-serve coffee bar
My partner and I spent 5 nights at Guaycura and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located downtown with easy (walking distance) to all restaurants, shops, and markets. We were pleasantly surprised by the cool El Faro beach club located about less than 10 minutes away from Guaycura. Since it is a sister property, we didn't have to pay for a day pass or beach towels. Food and drinks are served at El Faro by the pool or on the beach. One thing to note is that most stores including El Faro beach club are closed on Mondays. Almost all restaurants in town close at 9 PM, so eat early. There's no nightlife there except for the bar at Hotel California. Someone told us they open until 11 PM. Finally, there is no hotel parking but roadside parking is easily available. I would recommend this hotel for first timers to Todos Santos, to experience the town. Renting a car was a great idea for us since we drove around to explore nearby towns.
I was about to spend three days there with my girlfriend but apparently they had lost my reservation. We were literally kicked out of the place by their terrible manager Yolanda because the hotel was full. I couldn't believe it. Thank you there are a couple of other cool options near by! Are you guys hoteliers or what?
