Brand new El Ganzo brings a touch of urban edginess to Los Cabos via loft-style interiors and a laid-back seaside vibe Ernest Hemingway might dig (the writer was the inspiration behind the hotel’s signature rum cocktail, the Papa Doble). Though small, the 72-room property offers plenty of hipster hangouts — two pools, a spa, a library, a Japanese fusion and sushi restaurant and a rooftop bar — decorated with raw materials such as exposed stone, wood and concrete. Flip-flop-wearing beauties armed with iPads (in every guest room) swing from hammocks at the sea-level deck, where a firepit keeps things cozy after sunset.
Bed & Bath
Rooms are unfussy but comfortable, with bright white walls, stone floors, white paneled sofas and sitting areas separated by barn-style wooden sliding doors. Beds, which are draped in 300-thread-count white linens, also have wood headboards. Not for the timid, the glass-walled rainfall showers are in plain view of the bed. Your attention, however, will be drawn outward to the floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies overlooking the yacht-filled marina.
The lobby lounge is the hip heart of the hotel. Here you’ll sit on comfy red sofas while sipping hand-crafted cocktails and listening to resident musicians. On the roof there’s an infinity pool with a view, as well as a pool bar where the party goes on until the wee hours.
How to Get There
El Ganzo is a great facility, but the people make it dope! Israel at the beach club was particularly helpful. The food, especially the ceviche, is great. Use Uber to get around because cabs are way too expensive.
I just have my best vacation in hotel el ganzo specially un the beach club man with my niecely waiters Israel and Juan man there incredible i promise 2 comback on my next vacation they are so friendly
El Ganzo Hotel is a non-typical Cabo Hotel but a very good one.
The food is amazing, unique calm beach to swim in, like a pool, with a nice beach club where you can have drinks and lunch, and a pool bar in the roof with great music and a glass Jacuzzi.
All rooms have a different intervention by an artist, very cool, all the hotel has this artistic surprises.
It is like a SOHO Hotel but in Cabo.
Great service, relaxed atmosphere and great prices.
