How to Get There
A quiet border town, unlike Tijuana, and unlike all the other well know touristy sites in Baja. We actually went for pure relaxation. Living in San Diego, we used to visit often, just for a day, when our kids were growing up. Check Trip Adviser for restaurants. Rancho Tecate is new, I believe, to RCI. They have no binder prepared for the RCI guests, though the staff is happy and ready to help. In the town, you should visit the Tecate brewery. Years back, we would also stock up at the bakery, which name I do not remember! Nice drives are those to Guadalupe Valley where there are many wineries. We had a nice lunch at El Cielo. You can reach Rosarito from there also and the town of Ensenada. None of these towns are like Cabo or mainland cities, which are very touresty.
Great place to get away , really nice accomodations , super strong wi-fi
Outstanding customer service and the best restaurant of the entire town of Tecate
All the food was fresh and with the best quality of Ingredients
The photos look great. Not much to do, the restaurant was closed and the opened a small space for the very few clients. They were more into selling Real State that to run a Hotel.
We asked for a massage and they never returned our call, we wanted to ride horses, and first they showed us some beautiful horses, but nop, no for lease, and when we saw the other horses, better no, thanks.
Our room was very small, with just an interior window, even though the hotel was empty, Did I say that we were almost the only ones? Nice bed, though, with minibar and Coffeemaker. We were expecting a lovely weekend, and we just tried to stay out of the hotel as much as we could.
Not a bad place, but nothing to remember.
