Don’t trust management / Don’t park under the trees
Reviewed 2 months ago

April 2018: It was a nice stay overall until the end. We parked our car at the very entrance. There are trees that line the entire front of the hotel which is one place you can park your car. We came out the next morning and our car was covered in tree sap. When we complained to the hotel manager they told us they were not responsible. There were other cars impacted. I don't believe this is the first time this happens. I was surprised the hotel hadn't done something to prevent it or warn clients. The hotel told us to take our car to the car wash. The car wash needed to do a special treatment as soap and water wouldn't work. This cost us $83 USD. It took 3 hrs which hurt our travel time to the next city. The hotel manager, Nabil, promised she try to do something to help cover the cost. I emailed her and two days later no reply. This was a very poor experience and nothing I had very seen happen at a high end hotel. I won't recommend this hotel. UPDATE on MAY 07, 2018: Although I was promised a reimbursement, to this day, I have not received a follow up even after several emails and still no credit to my account. Not only does the management not understand customer service but they are liars. Don't stay here.

Comfortable and clean room. Nice property and restaurants. Close to road which can be loud at night. Great staff. Welcoming pool in center of property. Private and secure parking. Bring mosquito spray. Good breakfast included.

Romantic Getaway

The property is beautiful, fantastic balcony view, VIP treatment!
I was so impressed by the amazing customer service all the staff members we encountered had.

The options of restaurants was simply delightful and the food was over the top!

Our room was so romantically decorated, our champagne and strawberries arrived to our room in less 15 mins from checking in.

The only one bad thing is that I was charged twice for my stay. TripAdvisor and at the Hotel so check your bank statements. Had to contact my bank to resolve the overcharge.

Very nice setting. Love the grounds. Room was ok except sliding glass door for bathroom gives no privacy as doesnt close.

Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is way over priced for the type of buffet breakfast.

Fabulous place to stay

Having travelled to four continents this is my wife and my number one hotel. The rooms and the suites are immaculate and show the details only found in the finest hotels. The linens are luxurious and the staff always greets us with “ welcome home”, even the first time we stayed there. The cafeteria is great there are two other restaurants that are equally as good.
