How to Get There
We stayed here two nights upon our arrival in Greece before doing some island hopping and this was the perfect place to get our bearings in Athens, and Greece overall. It's a mere 15 minute walk to the Acropolis and it's situated close to lots of other sites and cool restaurants. Even if you're not used to walking everywhere, it won't be too bad walking to places from this hotel. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant looks directly at the Acropolis, which looks magical when lit at night. And the pool has poolside service for drinks. The rooms are also very nice and the staff is accommodating. We had a suite with a balcony that looked directly at the Acropolis, and spent quite some time out there. Plus, the included breakfast buffet is amazing! Seriously, get the roasted tomatoes.
This was our 6th or 7th visit to this hotel . Always spotlessly clean with very friendly and welcoming staff. Great views of the acropolis from the rooftop pool. Easy walk into Plaka with a great selection of shops and tavernas. The only down size is that they close the pool at 7 pm when the sun is still on it and the temperature is more bearable. There were lots of people still using when they started putting the railings round. Also there only 12 sun beds for a very large hotel . They could fit more round the pool. Other than that we had another fantastic stay and will definitely return.
great location near the Parthenon with plenty of restaurants near by. the pool and bar look out at the Parthenon. the staff were very helpful the rooms really comfortable. the pool bar is a great place to have a cold drink and watch the sunset with the parthenon in view.
Just returned from a 2 week break, totally chilled now. Love the relaxed atmosphere , no music drowning you out around the sea front or pool areas. Big thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcome, and who worked tirelessly to make this a fab resort. We had a seafront superior room, brilliant views, and again room was spotless. We tried all the restraunts on site, Italian being our favourite but they were all excellent. Weathee 1st week a bit windy, but we were glad of it as it was rather hot. Lots of kite surfers out and good to watch. Would I return again, yes. The only thing I did not like and nothing to do with the resort or hotel is the airport itself. Bad flight times and a terrible airport, seem to queue for hours at this airport. Overall for our 1st time in Greece and I'm glad we came to this hotel for our 1st experience of Greece.
We stayed here in a suite with a great view of the Acropolis from the balcony. The hotel also has a great view from the roof top pool and restaurant and bar areas. Very nice, well appointed and spacious suite. Great service from the hotel staff and nice morning breakfast. Very close walking distance to Plaka and the Acropolis. Very nice overall.
