Mia Resort Mui Ne
What We Love
- A boutique beachfront resort in Mui Ne, with breakfast, spa perks, a kitesurfing class and moreThe outdoor spa huts - all thatched roofs and diaphanous white drapes lightly billowing in the breeze
- The highly acclaimed pan-Asian dining at beachfront restaurant, Sandals
- The rattan furnishings, wave-inspired lines and shell-shaped basins in the island-chic rooms
Yearning for sand between your toes and ocean spray on your skin? Answer the call of the coast at the exquisite Mia Resort Mui Ne. This skillfully styled, 30-room retreat is ranked among the Top 25 Hotels in Vietnam on TripAdvisor, and not just because of its idyllic location or magazine-worthy rooms. Mia Resort’s beachfront restaurant, Sandals, has created a menu that’s made waves across the region’s food scene.
Thanks to the refreshing breeze that comes off the East Sea, Mui Ne is a perfect destination for kitesurfing, and you can take lessons right opposite the resort at The Sailing Club Kite School. Back on dry land, book a class in modern Vietnamese cookery or borrow a bicycle to explore the local area. Be sure to sooth exercised muscles at the sublime Xahn Spa; with a massage in one of the thatched, open-air huts, you’ll be on cloud nine in no time.
How to Get There
If I could give this place 6* I would. We stayed here for 9 nights in May 2019.
From the moment we arrived we were treated so well. As we checked in we were given a cold towel, a drink and some lovely mango sorbet. We were taken to our room No 55 which was beautifully clean, well stocked with toiletries and a well stocked minibar, ( which was replenished daily).
Breakfast was beautiful, cereals, continental, fruits juices which you could help yourself to and also a menu which was freshly prepared to order, with choices form full English to healthy options. Every morning manager Nicky came round and had a chat with every guest, asking if we slept ok, was there any queries and gave us some ideas as to what to do that day.
Every single morning by the time we got back to our room after breakfast, the room had been cleaned.
The hotel grounds were immaculate and the gardeners were working constantly throughout the day, always a smile and a wave as we passed by.
The pool area and beach was beautifully clean and the pool attendants / bar staff would bring your drinks etc directly to your sunbed.
Every lunchtime cold towels and complimentary fresh fruit was brought round.
We ate several times in the Sandals restaurant and it was superb, again nothing was too much trouble and a good choice on the menu.
By the end of our stay the staff had become our small family away from home.
A special mention to Tien, Thuy, Thanh, Nu, Cong, Phu, An, Chien, Tuyet, .....sorry if i’ve missed anyone.
Nicky, keep doing what you’re doing, you should be very proud......Thankyou.
Hope to see you again very soon.
My husband and I spent 4 nights here at the end of our time in Vietnam and it was dreamy. The resort is absolutely beautiful; the spa, pool, restaurant and beach areas all lull you into a state of relaxation. I’d say the one negative is that the rooms are surprisingly small for the price, but very nicely appointed. For us what really sets Mui Ne apart is the ambience (created primarily by the staff) and the food. The food will ruin hotel food for you forever. Everything we ordered from the extensive, health-focused (but plenty to indulge in if you choose) was simply amazing. The buffet/menu combo at breakfast was out of this world and we found ourselves strategising on what we should order each day to try the most things. There was a wedding on our final day and the staff handled it so well with all other guests, giving us plenty of notice, a bottle of wine to thank us for our understanding and making sure we were happy at dinner. We also had the romantic dinner on the beach for our anniversary and it was wonderful. I loved it and I hope I get to return!
We stayed at Mia for 3 nights and we loved the experience . The accommodation was excellent , the breakfast was fabulous and the food in general was varied and good value . The layout of the pool , restaurant /bar and their close proximity to the beach works well and helps make Mia a very relaxing resort . The staff ( particularly Tien) made us feel at home as soon as we arrived and we would hope to return in the not too distant future.
Recently finished a 5 night stay at this glorious resort after a hectic, yet highly memorable tour of Vietnam. Nikki and her team deliver a perfect balance of service and attention to detail which made staying here a real highlight of our visit to this amazing country.
The room was spotlessly clean; the service from the food and beverage team impeccable every day and the grounds are stunning. The spa was incredible and I have to say that it was a real effort to leave the resort. They catered for everything and everyone. If you want to finish a tour of Vietnam with some well earned R&R then look no further. You will not be disappointed.
Wonderfully relaxed stay, beautifully kept gardens. Clean, comfortable and well designed rooms. Very attentive and friendly staff. Very well managed. Great breakfast! We had a room close to the road, the traffic was annoying and kept us awake the first night. , however the next day we were upgraded to another room with a very kind and sincere apology A well needed break, very much enjoyed!
