- The rattan furnishings, wave-inspired lines and shell-shaped basins in the island-chic rooms
Yearning for sand between your toes and ocean spray on your skin? Answer the call of the coast at the exquisite Mia Resort Mui Ne. This skillfully styled, 30-room retreat is ranked among the Top 25 Hotels in Vietnam on TripAdvisor, and not just because of its idyllic location or magazine-worthy rooms. Mia Resort’s beachfront restaurant, Sandals, has created a menu that’s made waves across the region’s food scene.
Thanks to the refreshing breeze that comes off the East Sea, Mui Ne is a perfect destination for kitesurfing, and you can take lessons right opposite the resort at The Sailing Club Kite School. Back on dry land, book a class in modern Vietnamese cookery or borrow a bicycle to explore the local area. Be sure to sooth exercised muscles at the sublime Xahn Spa; with a massage in one of the thatched, open-air huts, you’ll be on cloud nine in no time.
How to Get There
This resort was a wonderful, beautiful place to conclude our unforgettable three weeks in Vietnam. I can’t find the right words for how lovely, serene, incredibly relaxing and welcoming this gem of a hotel was.
I agree with everything and more in the various glowing reports here, it is definitely as one says, “A little piece of paradise”. As another said “I love this place and I don't want to leave”, and we certainly didn’t want to.
I don’t think that over many years, countries and hotels I have ever come across such genuine and sincere service in a team ranging from the manager to the gardeners, who all exude true warmth and a passion to give the very best service.
Star ratings do not do this tranquil and elegant resort justice, here in Miu Ne they have an extra dimension that can not easily be quantified – sincerity.
The rooms were immaculate, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Food at breakfast and in the restaurant was of a very high standard, good value and it was a joy to dine there. All facilities were very well maintained including the spotless pool area, gardens and beach.
At breakfast Nikki the manager came round to greet and chat with all guests and, as with all other aspects of staff/guest interaction, it was sincere, not at all routine.
As with so many aspects of Vietnam, if there was even the smallest issue, they went out of their way to correct it and to give total guest satisfaction
This hotel is an absolute credit to Nikki and her staff who all go above and beyond to make this the beautiful place that it is. They do genuinely care about the total guest experience and long may that continue. Saying goodbye was very sad, they are lovely people and we will definitely be going back, very soon.
Thank you to you all.
We spent 5 nights at this hotel at the end of a three week trip of Vietnam and Cambodia and it was exactly what we needed. This a beautiful spot to unwind in a tranquil and luxurious environment. As a family of four with two nearly grown up children, we stayed in the three bed villa, which was great with plenty of space. This is set back enough to feel private, surrounded by tropical vegetation and dozens of very cheeky squirrels that were great fun to watch. The food is very good and the staff were all fantastic!
My boyfriend and I ate dinner at the resort during our stay in Mui Ne. It was the most idyllic spot, candle lit and overlooking the water and swimming pool. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. We initially had come to have cocktails but noticed how delicious the food looked and just had to try it, we were not disappointed! The cocktails are amazing, the menu for both food and drinks is incredibly extensive, something for everyone. For dinner I had the chicken burger and my boyfriend had the fish and chips, such a beautiful meal in the perfect location. The food is a little pricier than other restaurants but 100% worth it, for the mouth watering food, drinks and location. Could not have asked for better service. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Mui Ne again.
