The Lowdown

Yearning for sand between your toes and ocean spray on your skin? Answer the call of the coast at the exquisite Mia Resort Mui Ne. This skillfully styled, 30-room retreat is ranked among the Top 25 Hotels in Vietnam on TripAdvisor, and not just because of its idyllic location or magazine-worthy rooms. Mia Resort’s beachfront restaurant, Sandals, has created a menu that’s made waves across the region’s food scene.
Thanks to the refreshing breeze that comes off the East Sea, Mui Ne is a perfect destination for kitesurfing, and you can take lessons right opposite the resort at The Sailing Club Kite School. Back on dry land, book a class in modern Vietnamese cookery or borrow a bicycle to explore the local area. Be sure to sooth exercised muscles at the sublime Xahn Spa; with a massage in one of the thatched, open-air huts, you’ll be on cloud nine in no time.

Just returned from a ten nights totally relaxing stay at The Sailing Club, Muine. Our first visit to Vietnam after travelling all over Thailand for past 17 years. An amazing resort one of the best hotels we have stayed in for everything all round. Stunning hotel, pool, restaurant and beach. Beautifully decorated with amazing gardens tended to every day. The hotel staff were so lovely, helpful, nothing too much trouble and always with a smile! Thank you Nicky it was lovely to meet you, you should be so proud everything was perfect at the Sailing Club and thank you to all the staff to name a few, Wang, Thien (Fairy), Than, Nu, Chien, Puoc, Thuy, Trong and to everyone else I haven't mentioned thank you all so much for making our stay so special!! Would love to come back soon. Kind regards Lesley and John FENNER

My husband and I spent the last weekend of our honeymoon at the Sailing Club Mui Ne and what else can we say besides “WOW!”

The location, resort, food, and staff were incredible. We tried different food for every meal of our 4 night/5 day stay and every one was delicious. The complimentary breakfast bar and menu far exceeded expectations.

We would like to really give another big THANK YOU to the staff. Everyone we passed would greet us with a smile we really felt like special guests as opposed to just visitors.

If you are considering visiting Mui Ne for kiting or just some hours on the beach, we cannot recommend the Sailing Club (formerly Mia) enough. 5 stars all around!

We visited this small boutique resort as part of our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip. We stayed in garden bungalow 33 which we loved. The hotel provided a very personal service, making sure each guest felt valued and important, this was exemplified by the manager, Niki who spoke with each guest morning and evening, ensuring each was happy and providing advice and recommendations when asked.
All the staff would do anything they can to help. We particularly appreciated the ‘Turn Down’ service at night where the staff gave the room a light clean, lowered the mosquito nets and lit the insect repellent coil. These were plentiful in the room as was an insect repellent plug in and spray.
We tried many of the dishes offered at breakfast and highly recommend the smoothie bowls, light, colourful and fresh. We ate at the hotel each evening too, trying many of the local dishes on the menu, my favourite thing this hotel provided was, when ordering a local dish a member of the staff came to the table and demonstrated the best way to eat the dish, in this way I enjoyed the pork kebabs with rice paper and also the Hot pot. Sometimes these dishes can be daunting when your not sure how to approach them.
We also tried many of the cocktails on the menu and can recommend the Sangrias and my personal favourite, the Pomelo Basil Collins.
A great hotel that we will visit again
