Perfect for training

Ran an event here for a client and the service was top notch, very friendly and attentive staff. A personal welcome and contact number from the Manager. The facilitites were great and the food provided was excellent and constantly topped up. Very impressed.

Always Fantastic!

It was great to return to the SGS. I hadn’t stayed there since 2016, but the quality of service, accommodations, and dining is still the same —- superb! Of particularly note, the service remains amazing — special recognition to Parinya at the Living Room, Yonpoon at Barsu, Chaiyasit in the Rossini, and Ukrit from Guest Services. I look forward to my next stay.

Nice hotel but better value elsewhere in Bangkok

I do not normally stay at the Sheraton Sukhumvit, as I live out of town, also due to not being the newest hotel in town, but we decided to give it a try, as I was attending a hotel event and did not want any commuting issues. The hotel reservation booking was a little bit cumbersome as they do not have the hotels email address on the website, so I obtained the contact details via their face book page. Car access to the hotel was fine and we checked in early at 10:30 but the front desk mentioned that we would have to wait till 3pm, so I proceeded to sit in the lobby (there needs to be a procedure here) and the wife and kids went shopping. Luckily at 11:30 they found us a room and so was escorted to the room, whilst on the trip to the room I gave my Marriott Loyalty membership no to the lady as they did not have it listed when I checked in. Room was great, Internet ok, nice amenity, powerful shower pressure, World cup rugby on TV (drops out if there is a storm) and a quiet room. Food and service was ok at the function I attended. My daughter's rollaway charge was B2,236.30 which I felt was a bit excessive when compared to the other hotels, also the whole weekend's bill of B9,751,45 with NO breakfast, was in my view the category of "Not such good value as other hotels" (Value = Quality/Price) so when the Price is up around the 10K mark for a one night stay the product and service needs to be significantly better than the 1-9K hotels otherwise the value is not there.
