In the Area

Hit up Thong Nai Pan Beach, just a distance from the resort, for local craft and souvenir shopping, or take to the water by kayak or canoe for a self-guided tour of the area shoreline. Don’t forget to bring your snorkeling gear or trade it in with a local PADI dive outfitter and check out Ang Thong National Marine Park, Sail Rock or Chumphon Pinnacle, among the top-rated dive sites in Thailand.
How to Get There
Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience.
Room: We had a private pool room, the outside shower, and a luxurious room that looked like it belonged to a sultan. Super nice.
Food: Breakfast was great, and dinner nights (costs 650 TBH/p) had superb food and nice entertainment.
Spa: The 40 minutes free massage we got in this spa was such a treat. Great and relaxing view.
Activities: 1 hour free sea kayak, origami activities for kids (which we took part in), yoga classes, etc.
Location: The drive to the hotel from the pier was a bit long. There is a 10 minutes beach walk to the village, that has several restaurants, bars, convenience stores & laundry shops. You can book a taxi back to pier in the village (much cheaper than the hotel).
The biggest downside of this hotel was that it is located in the middle of the forest, and no matter what you do, you will have several encounters with insects in and around the room.
Overall: would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.
We have been had nothing but a brilliant experience so friendly and welcoming. Great service great food would highly recommend. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Maybe a little expensive for food but over all it has been a wonderful experience
The hotels tries to be close to nature and everything is open without windows - gym, restaurants - everything. Some villas (like ours) even have outdoor bathrooms which for us was a horrible experience. The outdoor bathroom was not explicitly mentioned when booking and going out to the toilet in the night was every time a shock as there were animals (spiders) etc. creeping around. When we wanted to change the room, they did not let us.
Everything is a little run down and the spray toxic things into the woods 2x a day to kill the insects - just horrible.
Lack of free time activities (e.g. yoga classes).
Walk to little city very insufficient and very badly connected overall.
We can not recommend it all unfortunately.
Should be renovated with windows to stop hurting of environment.
On the way to koh phangan we decided to book this hotel through its website based on the advice of a friend who stayed here before and a bunch of sites and blogs saying the best beaches are in this area.
When we arrived we got welcome drinks and cold towels. Wilard (hope I remember the name correctly) gave us an A to Z tour of the resort and the villa.
Breakfast was tasetful and we vast variety and the service was amazing. I couldn't ask for a better view while having my breakfast.
Everything was above and beyond and the staff was the kindest. You could see the resort was designed with a great thought for the details.
We'll be happy to come back.
Thanks for everything!
We initially booked a "pool suite see view". We got a very tiny room inside a building, with no privacy (smoking smells and noises from the near rooms). In addition, the access to the room was uncomfortable since it required the hotel shuttle (distance of about 600 meters inside the hotel).
We asked the stuff to upgrade the room, the stuff tried to help but there was not available rooms. We could upgrade the room only two days later.
We upgraded to a big villa with a see view. The vila was very lovely with a lot of facilities, but there were constructions nearby (right next to our room), and all day there were noises from the building. We wanted to enjoy and do not leave the room again, so we didn't compliant again.
In general- the hotel facilities and services are very good, but only the big villas are recommended.
The hotel beach is nice but after passing the rocks on the beach, the neighbor beach is amazing (although the hotel's access is a bit dengerus). In addition, 10 minuets walking through the beach, there is a nice village with good restaurants.
