Big hotels for families and groups
Reviewed 4 days ago

Big hotels with big groups and families so not so great if you plan to relax. Very conveniently located to the marina though so convenient if you are sailing. Big rooms, comfy beds and decent bathroom. Three big swimming pools and direct beach access. The WiFi is terrible, hard to connect to and slow. The breakfast spread is big and geared towards Asian tastes and is in general of average quality. Would prefer less but better. Staff is helpful and competent.

Old and slow

The restaurant took more than an hour to deliver my order due to the limited capacity. They informed me that this is normal situation during dinner time and I was like that's it?! I mean if this happens regularly, they should increase numbers of chef or something. Really disappointed.

Impressive!

Beautiful resort with green scenery and private beach, providing fully services; spa, kids club, 3 swimming pools. The room is comfy and well-funished in Thai modern style. Plenty of breakfast selections and staffs are service-minded, polie and helpful.

Nice and relax

This is my first time with this hotel and we booked 4 rooms and I got a deluxe room with one king bed and a single bed. The room have a nice scent. Fantastic pools that I wish them to open a little late than just 7pm.

Breakfast is too typical for this hotel price, but it taste good. I enjoy it because I was there very early. My family said that around 8 am there a lot of people there.

The beach just in a half minute walk from the hotel, the sand is very clean I like it a lot.

The staffs are really friendly and helpful.

Cons: two of our rooms smell damp from bedsheet, pillow sheet and bad smell in the room. It’s like it has been shut for a long time and just open again without cleaning it. We found a electric scent to plug in. (I hope that’s the scent not just mosquito repellent. Elevator is too small.

Overall is good. We like this trip.

Good but.......

A great hotel with great staff but in a poor location. The staff are friendly and always smiling, they really do make you feel like they can't do enough to make your stay a pleasurable one.

We booked a room with a king bed and bunk beds for the kids, the room was massive! We were on the ground floor with views onto the pool. The room had all the usual mod cons that are a must for any hotel, wifi, tea/coffee, safe, tv, hair dryer and fridge. The room was clean with plenty of towels.

Breakfast is an add on but oh so worth it. It's a feast! Every taste seems to be catered for, although they need to get decent bacon and get rid of that fatty streaky stuff. I found the choice for eating other meals at the hotel very restricted. They have two restaurants, 1 Mediterranean which seemed to be Italian focused. Which we never used, I'm not travelling to Thailand to eat Italian/Mediterranean food. The other was by the beach, with a very limited menu for choices.
The prices for alcoholic drinks are very expensive as well, but there is a 7 11 on the main road outside the resort. They have 2 for 1 happy hour from 4 till 7pm.

The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. The hotel wants to sell a hotel taxi or shuttle into Pattaya, which are both expensive compared to outside the hotel. You should budget an extra 400 to 500 baht per day to get into Pattaya or Jomtien and back. There are tuk tuks to take you, outside the hotel, but they leave you crossing an extremely busy road, not recommended with kids.

On the whole an enjoyable stay but we won't be going back. Lack of food choices and the location means this hotel doesn't deserve anything more than 4 stars.
