How to Get There
We spent 4 days in Bangkok and then went to Ravindra Beach. I e-mailed Noo beforehand to say that it was my husband birthday on the day we were getting there and she organised an upgrade and a birthday cake. Thank you Noo as this was so lovely and the rooms were amazing. We really appreciate what you did for us.
Ravindra Beach is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to and the cleanest of places ever. The cleaners we amazing and our rooms were always pristine. We really loved the beach and pools and the sunsets are amazing!! If you’re after a mental holiday to Pattya it’s definitely not the place for you, but If you want to chill, look at the ocean and have a relaxing holiday I highly recommend Ravindra Beach. On the beach to the right of the resort there are places directly on the beach to eat and drink. We found the most amazing bar called Wonderbar which is a silver caravan on the beach and has cheap beer, a friendly barman and seats next to the ocean. We have loved everything about Thailand but the best bit was the amazing people.
This is an ideal hotel if you are looking for only rest and relaxation, as it is away from the main city. If you wish to explore the city, then you need to book their bus, which costs 160 bahts per person return. The bus leaves at 12, 3 and 6 pm and has to be pre-booked.
The hotel has spa, but there is no souvenir shop, which was disappointing, as there are no other shops locally.
The highlight of this hotel is their beautiful private beach, it is wide and lovely. With free to use sun beds.
The WIFI was not good, very poor reception.
There was no Thai evening entertainment such as Thai songs or dances. Only English live songs were sung in Reva restaurant, but the music was too loud.
It will just enhance the experience if the resort has cultural entertainment for their guests.
The library was too hot, the a/c wasn't that strong.
It will be nice to have English newspaper. I only found it on day 1, and then it had gone.
The tv was blurry with limited English channels.
Hotel Reef had super hot curries, be careful when ordering, as the Green curry was fiery hot!
The room and bathroom was amazing, the toiletries they offered were better than any other hotel we have stayed in. The plus point is, there is a bath and a spacious shower cubicle.
The breakfast was nice, plenty of Thai and continental food to choose from such as omlette station, noodles, rice etc. The service was efficient and friendly.
Overall, only stay here if you are mainly after rest and relaxaion.
The hotel was located on the beach in a quiet remote area of Najomtien about 20-30 minutes away by car from the center of Pattaya city. Its rooms were all very specious. Its breakfast buffet had a wide variety of European and Thai entries. Its facilities included 3 big pools, beach chairs, fitness and yoga rooms, 3 restaurants and bars. However, its had a certain humidified smell emitting from its plywood furniture absorbing moistures from the ocean that well reflected the age of the hotel where hot water worked in random basis.
