‘Honest Review’

I had to title this a ‘honest review’ as upon checking in to this hotel, we were automatically offered a free bus ticket in to Pattaya if we wrote a good review without even knowing what the place was like. As I use trip advisor a lot for reviews, this really annoyed me. After looking at the reviews, I can now see that they are short in nature and reflect that this is happening a lot in this hotel.

The hotel itself is nice with nice rooms and grounds. But the staff are really poor, very little English and when asked about getting a mini bus back to Bangkok, all they could offer was a taxi. Having travelled Thailand a lot, I know there are many ways to get around to and from places afar and not just by taxi. They had no tour desk offering daily tours and were just overall very poor. Also when we found a nice taxi guy, who we arranged our taxi to bus station, the reception staff refused to to speak on the phone for us as it wasn’t a taxi company they used, suggesting they get a commission as the price they quoted was heavily inflated.

They also charge 10% service charge on everything you order whether you’re getting service or not, including ordering a beer at the bar where they just pass it too you. I decided to go to the 7 Eleven shop instead!

Overall a very disappointing stay. Hotel lacked atmosphere and was just full of conferences and business trips.

The only plus point was the restaurant staff were really nice and did provide good service so was happy to pay the service there.

Nice but unfortunately not private
Reviewed 1 month ago

The hotel is nice and have a great pool/s (have 2-3 pools), we booked a villa with private pool which unfortunately was not private at all as anyone from outside of the villa’s area can see everything in the pool or in the room.

The pool bar was very nice although they allow children in that pool which is super illegal (in Thailand) and inappropriate!

The villa pool was super small but good enough if 1-2 people only.

The worst thing about this hotel is it is super far from beach road or anything in that area (ex. Walking street) and there is no taxis but the hotel taxi which costed 15$/500฿.

Beautiful Resort

Beautiful resort. Stayed for one week in a 1 bedroom villa.
Beautiful resort. Immaculately kept and quiet. Good for families.
Out of town by 15-20 minutes. Shuttle was complimentary in my rate but is 80 baht each way usually.
Breakfast buffet was ok.
