Overpriced very basic

Stayed here for a week end of may,the front entrance looks great but my enthusiasm disappeared when i got to the room, very basic room, hardly any storage no draws near the bed to put belongings in. Bathroom was ok however toilet was awful, had to hold it for around 10 seconds to flush. You could here everything in the corridor from the room also there ajoining doors to next room which you can here everything from their room. Tv channels are basic..no music channel, and the pool was terrible,1meter deep all the way down just doesnt make sense. I do feel it wouldn't take much to get this hotel upto the standard they claim they are,as all my points are minor however when paying 3000bht pn i expected more. Breakfast buffet was really good, however at 785bht pp is very overpriced.

Nice, Decent Hotel on Beach Road

Luxurious hotel on the beach Road, right beside the Hard Rock Hotel. The rooms here have semi sea views. It is 9 - storey high building, the front part of which houses restaurants and cafe on the ground floor and swimming pool / gym on the first floor. The pool is relaxing with loungers all over. No food or drinks are allowed near the pool. The water is clean and well maintained.
The house-keeping staffs are okayish and not very particular about their work. The rooms are well-equipped and there are many amenities added to the rooms. They are well lit too.
The washrooms are spacious and have bath tubs as well as a shower space. You can get a tremendous view of the Hard Rock Hotel and its pool if you are on that side of the hotel, not sure about the view from the other side. Food quality is also above expectations. The breakfast spread is too good. Having different types of breads and omelettes give a great start to the day. Breakfasts start at 6 in the morning. Staff is courteous and it is also a guest friendly hotel.

Overpriced and not so good experience

Stayed here 4 nights, and cannot see what all the hype about this hotel is.

Arrived at the hotel, lazy guard almost didn’t care to help with luggage.

Came to front desk and the staff seemed pretty untrained. Gave us first a room, but after waiting 15 min they gave us another. Room wasn’t ready.

Everyday front desk staff was not paying attention saying hi/hello, no smiling. Pretty un personal stay. Did not feel welcome.

The room we stayed in was very small and not to mention the bathroom.

The hotel is very clean, the food in the restaurant was ok but again staff here looked like they hated their job. And it is also well overpriced.

Tv, lots of channels not working properly, called front desk, some technicians came but just smiled and changed a cable. Did not help with the signal issue. They said all rooms have the same issue..

The photos of the hotel on websites are pretty overdimentioned. Swimming pool is much smaller then it looks like on the photos!

Will not stay here again!

A nice brief stay

A nice hotel overall with a few glitches, the design is nice, feels welcoming and high end in reception, the rooms are not bad, however i wouldnt say the hotel is a 4 star. In the room there is zero storage space. There is a little tiny wardrobe, however your bags will be on the floor in the corner. Nowhere to lay clothes, socks etc unless you are keeping them in your bag. There is only space to hang up a few things which was quite a pain to be honest.

We also had problems with the lift every time we got in for some reason. Either it wouldnt go down when we pressed the button, went to the wrong floor, or just didnt move!!!

Taking nothing away from it though it was a plesent stay, maybe a little expensive for the experience however.
