How to Get There
Breakfast and Dinner buffet was really poor, very limited options as well the presentation and quality of the food. Hygienic conditions were not good too.
Ordering from the menu itself was much better but was not fully covered by the All-inclusive price and many times half of the menu was not available at all.
Rooms were descent but unfortunatelly we had cold water the entire week.
Swimming pool was in a bad condition, many tiles were missing and one of the kids ended up with a big cut in his feet. Medical expenses were only covered after a very long discussion.
The tour-operator, inside the hotel, cancelled our trip to El Nido because of bad weather.
This can happen but they gave us a very hard time to retrurn our money which was nearly $ 500,-. Finally we got the money after the management of the hotel was involved.
The beach and daytrips were nice.
Stunning location with a pristine beach, great service, friendly staff, and beautifully maintained facility. The food choices are great and the entertainment hot. The pool is clean and with swim up bar.
I recently spent 5 glories nights at your resort with my wife.
I was away from Australia for the total of 5 weeks visiting 4 different countries. Our 1st stop was the UAE(Dubai), followed by the Maldives, Thailand & then finally the Philippines.
The reason for the trip was to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary which fell on 8th November 2018 during our stay at the Sheridan.
The Sheridan Resort was the highlight of our trip & we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to ALL the staff that made us feel special during our stay.
A special thanks to the following people.
• Apple at the front desk who arranged the surprises for room 101 & breakfast takeaway at 2:00am for a Port Barton tour.
• Brian who looked after my surprise dinner celebration on the night for our anniversary.
The selection of music in the language of choice that was played as our wedding waltz that brought my wife to cry tears of happiness is something that will live in our hearts forever.
All staff members were tight lipped over the surprise & my wife had no idea until the cake arrived & the wedding waltz was played. Thanks again Brian.
• Anthony, well done for arranging the behind the scenes. Without you overseeing our special day this would not have been possible. Thank you Anthony.
• Phillip & Jonathan, well what can I say about these 2 special people. If I had the capacity as an employer to give these special people in my life a pay rise, I would. They went well beyond their responsibility as members of the concierge to make our stay the best. Who needs the Maldives at $1,500 AUD per night for an over the water bungalow when you have people like these two working at the Sheridan@Sabang. You 2 are THE BEST!!!!!
I will be forever in your debt for the genuine warm my wife & I felt in your presence……..Love you guys.
I would like to close by thanking all the staff members for such a memorable stay.
Palawan & indeed the Sheridan is what I talk about when folk ask me about my recent holidays, not the MALDIVES or the other locations I visited.
Whilst these locations were also good, the SHERIDAN will live in our hearts forever.
PS. Please feel free to share our gratitude to your staff.
Spent 5 nights here travelling across the Philippines. The resort has everything you need. Stunning location, extremely helpful staff, great food and even better cocktails! And to top all that, the beach, adorned with hammocks and swings, is just sitting in front of the restaurant. We had a romantic dinner on the beach one evening, really beautiful setting. The staff are there for you through out your stay, especially Joan and Paul on the bar 😋 The resort is also an excellent location to the very nearby Underground River and Mangrove paddle boat tour. We will definitely be returning here!!
We stayed four nights at the Sheridan beach Resort. The outstanding feature was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The hotel is situated right on the beach at Sabang and this indeed is a delightful spot. We had a deluxe room which was pleasant enough although the promised sea view was obscured pretty much by the restaurant. We were told on check in that full board was included (which was a surprise to me and so I queried it and was assured that all meals were included) as a result we turned up for dinner only to find that it was not included in our package. The buffet food was pleasant but a little expensive especially as we were not expecting to pay. Breakfast (which was included) had a wide choice and was pleasant. If wifi is important to you then beware it is very poor in the rooms. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful spot and once again I would praise the staff for their friendliness at all times.
