The Lowdown

Discovery Shores Boracay’s 88 designer digs, three restaurants and enviable island location make it a favorite with luxury travel publications, consistently garnering top awards for its spa and service. Ample glass walls, hardwood floors, minimalist furnishing and pops of ruby and royal blue throughout the all-suite hotel make already spacious quarters feel all the more roomy and welcoming, while the pool, fitness center, recreation room and library provide plenty of diversions beyond the private beach. And if you’re looking for some pampering, the award-winning spa offers a host of restorative treatments ranging from body scrubs to deep tissue massages.

In the Area

Devote three hours to the Terra Journey Massage at the top-rated Terra Spa, or opt for a shorter Hilot Haplos massage for a taste of the island’s best treatment featuring virgin coconut oil and heated banana leaves. Beyond the resort, your concierge can hook up a private island excursion to neighboring coves and cays, or provide snorkeling gear, paddleboards and other water sports amenities so you can explore the surrounding seas on your own. Don’t miss nearby Willy’s Rock, an iconic islet off Boracay that showcases a statue of the Virgin Mary and is among the most photographed landmarks in the region.

Discovery Group of Hotel is my service standard. The staff are very hospitable and customer oriented. The hotel speaks for itself. Rooms are large, well designed and well maintained. It is situated in station 1 where you get the best view of the beach and feel the powdery and cool sand on your feet. It's a place where you can totally relax.

very good experience White Beach

very good experience directly at the White Beach. Especially the Suites with the 360°-Panorma-Terrasse are perfect. No more beach-beds allowed, but pillow and lay cloth are offered instead. Nice people around.

Peaceful suite & Relax Spa with the best service at Boracay

Good hotel at Boracay station 1, the most peaceful beach in Boracay. Tasty food and drinks here! Spa was excellent with the reasonable price. I have spent time every afternoon at signature oil massage. Such a good vacation. Only one complain, fresh coconut was unavailable

Will definitely return!

Excellent service from the staff! One can literally forget about one’s luggage, transportation arrangements, and other mundane things and just switch on your holiday mode in this resort. Sweet smiles and sincere gestures make one feel right at home.

The rooms are also excellent. They are not opulent but luxurious enough to feel “like a king” at least for a couple of days. The TV sets are smart TVs allowing me to connect my gadgets to the screen. Unfortunately they don’t have Screen Sharing for Apple gadgets (AirPlay). The TV only caters to Android phones. However if you have the HDMI cable. That’s a good compromise.

The bar is right on the shore and makes a perfect place to watch the sunsets with a chilled beer in your hand. I didn’t have the chance to have lunch or dinner in the place (except for the wedding reception) so I cannot say much about the food.

Breakfast buffet can stand some improvement. There was not enough choices for those who want to have fish like Bangus belly or danggit.

Overall, this resort has perfected the art of making the guest feel “like a king” from the moment one steps out from the airport upon arrival and when one goes into the airport for the departure.

We will definitely return!
