- Grabbing some freshly grilled seafood at the restaurant in the evening
- Heading out into the sparkling sea for a snorkelling adventure
What To Know
- Beach Villas are best on the lagoon side of the resort (the reef-facing side has views of the service island)
- On Saturdays the resort hosts a crab racing event, while every night you can catch manta ray feedings
- Free WiFi is extremely slow, but is that really a concern when you're in the Maldives?
A once-in-a-lifetime experience awaits you at this heavenly private island in the middle of Maldives. A tiny atoll in the midst of all the blue, the emerald gem is fringed by powder-white sand with a long bridge linking to its handful of reef villas.
With just 100 rooms, there is a sense of exclusivity and seclusion, perfect for those looking to get away from it all and soak in the paradisaical atmosphere of the Maldives. Here, barefoot living is encouraged – feel the squish of soft sand under your feet, snorkel in reefs teeming with life or simply kick back with a drink in hand on a deck chair at your villa.
Breakfast and dinner is included in your stay, which leaves you more time to enjoy the facilities of the resort. Aside from water sports and snorkelling day trips, wind down with a massage at the Sun Aqua Spa. Spice-scented scrubs are their specialty and guarantee you’ll be refreshed after. With a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in the bag, reviews are glowing.
How to Get There
Ewerything was perfect everybody was very helpfull And good humored especially Sanjula and his frıend Süderau mıthun and Nafıu they were hardworking that was unforgettable honeymoon ???????????????? We will Remember those days in a very good way
My wife and I spent 10 fantastic nights here on an all inclusive basis. This place is pure paradise. The island is small and we were worried it would feel crowded but that wasn't the case. You could walk round the island and be lucky to see a dozen guests. It never felt busy even at mealtimes. To begin we stayed in a sunset reef villa which was very nice and gave us a spectacular view of the ocean, sky and beautiful sunsets. I had injured my knee prior to arriving here and was finding the walk from the water villa (428) very painful so I spoke with Didi at reception and he moved us to an aqua pool villa (151) right next to the Aqua restaurant which was a massive help. Didi, Ibrahim and all the staff were fantastic and we have never stayed in a resort where the staff are so attentive to your needs, and they do everything with a smile.
The food at the Aqua buffet is good and has a wide variety. If you can't find something to your liking then the chefs are only too happy to try and accommodate you.
The AI house spirits and cocktail menu should keep most people happy also.
It was also my wife's birthday while we were there so that evening, unbeknown to us, they had set up a table on the beach for our dinner including a birthday cake .
We didn't bother eating at the a la carte restaurant as we loved the buffet so much.
Cant comment on the house reef due to my injury but from speaking with other guests they said the snorkelling was very good.
Loved our stay here and hope to return.
we had 6 days in Vilu reef and it was really amazing. staff are very helpful and friendly. If you have any exceptional claims instead of reject they do the best they can. reef is well protected and alive so we had a chance to observe plenty of kind of fishes and aquatics during snorkeling. there are also different water sports that you can enjoy. we stayed both in overwater villa and beach villa which both are clean and well furnished. We really enjoy the open buffet however it is relative. In general, lovely and friendly hotel and stuff. If you want to spend your holiday in warm and peaceful place I recomended this hotel peace of mind.
