How to Get There
We have been in Meeru from 10 until 18 October. It was our 4th time. Although the weather was not that good we had a perfect time. First three times we had a Jacuzzi Water Villa (700 range) this time we had a Jacuzzi Beach villa (600 range). Both kinds are beautiful. They are different. In the Water Villa you can spot lots of fish. In the Beach Villa you are in the middle of the wood, spotting flying dogs. The island is more than beautiful, the food and drinks are fantastic and all staff are very friendly. We especially had a lot of contact and a great time with Kumar, Nella, Affan and Didi, who all are fantastic persons. Thanks all of you giving is this great time. We will be back in May next year! Many thanks! Mannie and Ton Raats!
We had a pleasant week's stay at Meeru. Great beach villas, prompt service, super-friendly staff...
Our plan was to just relax ..and that's what we did (apart from an exciting submarine trip).
We used to wake up to cuckoos singing in the trees by the villa :) ..wish we had a few more days to spend. Would love to come again.
A request to management --- while the continental buffet spread was great and I personally enjoyed it...it would be great if a bit of better Indian dishes could be accommodated into the daily menu. I understand, the menu is mostly aimed at the global audience that Meeru handles..however, being close to the Indian sub-continent, it's obvious almost every Maldivian resort would have a bunch of Indian tourists throughout the year...we too met a number of families during our stay at Meeru. My thoughts echo theirs, in this matter.
To Airline Staff out there, this resort offers a great deal. It gives 50% off and includes the transportation from airport to the resort (normal
