Want to return-NOW!
Reviewed 1 day ago

We should have stayed longer on this beautiful island and will return as soon as possible. The staff are all so pleasant it is a joy to engage with them.Everything was well maintained and the food always excellent everywhere we ate. Throughly recommend the Select All in so you can eat in all the restaurants and have what you want to drink. (We had to ask for cold milk for tea).We didn’t need to pay for anything more but there are wider drink choices if you like. The weather, of course is very warm and the odd short thunderstorm only added to the ambiance. I was a little sad not to see the dolphins but sitting on top of the boat was fun,we later saw dolphins at a distance from the sea plane. We discovered we need more practice at snorkelling so we were disappointed that the mini submarine wasn’t working, a good excuse to return either for this or to kayak to see more underwater creatures. Our Pool Villa was very comfortable so we slept well. Loved our outdoor shower but maybe the clear loo door would be better if glazed? An amazing place , you have to be there to appreciate all its power.

Amazing resort!

Kuramathi is awesome. If you really want to feel like in paradise, just get there. From the firts moment we stepped off the speed boat, which transferred us from Male to island, everything has been perfect, amazing and totaly wonderful. Accomodation, meals, beach, fantastic water and above all - the snoerkeling area. There is a house reef - so just few steps and you feel like in sea aquarium. So many amazing fishes, reef sharks, big turtle. As the end of our stay here is coming, I know definitely one thing - I will return. No doubts!

Fantastic staff and wonderful Select All Inclusive
Reviewed 2 days ago

The island is large and with a hip problem I did have some issues but the regular buggy trips were a great help. The Select all inclusive is wonderful and we had some fantastic meals, our favourite being the Tai and the BBQ. The Palm is good but most of the tables are outside and we got bitten, it's also very dark and hard to see what you're eating. An open pizza oven would enhance the pizzas as they are cooked in an electric oven and not very authentic - the only dessert you can get here is ice cream, not a tiramisu in sight sadly.
We too encountered the "Big Fat Gypsy Wedding" - thank goodness it was their last couple of days! 3 bare chested 'men' were arguing with a member of staff and were demanding room extensions for their children when the hotel was full - they were so rude I was embarrassed for them but they did not seem to care!
We had a wonderful holiday but have to comment on the quality of the Beach villa with Jacuzzi. Our room boy Ali kept it wonderfully clean but sad to say it was a bit shabby, with cracked floor tiles, dreadful grouting round the bath and the rear of the room outside did leave something to be desired it was not very nice at all. However the staff were keen to put anything right if they could but the uneven and split decking was more of a challenge sadly.
The 'reef' on the side of the beach villas with Jacuzzi is well - pretty dead and they are very few fish, although we did see a black tipped reef shark one day.
The reef on the opposite side of the island is sparse although you can see some brain coral and there are more fish but disappointing compared to other islands in the Maldives we have visited. The snorkelling area is restricted to a small distance though many did enjoy the snorkelling experience.

Beautiful Island

Kuramathi is the biggest island in the Maldives and has all you need for an excellent relaxing holiday or honeymoon. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and helpful especially Magie in the Laguna Bar she made us feel very special and Patrik in the Farivalhu restaurant.

It is pure paradise, you will not be disappointed.

Stunning ! Just simply Stunning !

Paradise is this Island. The villas are gorgeous, the people so friendly & the restaurants amazing. For me it was a perfect size, by no means the smallest, but not the biggest. Plenty to do or not to do depending on your ideals. Would I go back ? yes in a heart beat !
