Every things here are very beautiful and lovely. We stayed in Sunset Pool Villa, private beach access and pool is in backside( bathroom)of the room with full privacy. We really enjoyed our stay. Lagoon is shallow and very clean. kids friendly resort.

Good stay overall

It was a fantastic experience. Go for the Sunset side villas, there's a good breeze all the time. The restaurant staff were excellent - Shaad from SFS, Joy from Fushi, and the two hosts at Baan Huraa (we forget their names), were very thoughtful and warm.

Relatively close to Male airport, excellent staff and kids friendly activities makes this resort a number one pick for a Maldives travel with the little ones.
Good size overwater villas, the ones with the pool offer additional fun times and are worth the extra.
Best bathtub view we had ever experienced.

Best Holiday Ever
Reviewed 4 days ago

We just came back from an exceptional eight days at Anantara Dhigu, which must be the best holiday we have taken as a family. Our kids, eight and five, enjoyed themselves at the beach, pool and restaurants so much that they have asked to go back again in July!

Many have commented about the surreal scenery, excellent facilities etc. They are all true, and probably even better when you have experienced these yourself. We were at the sunrise beach villa and sunset overwater suite and they were both really well-maintained and very clean. We loved the sunset overwater suite because of the unblocked views, and there are sharks, stingrays and other huge fishes that swim by at night. I would personally choose the beach villas again in future given the price and because they are newly renovated.

The restaurants were excellent too. We were at Fushi for breakfast, Aqua, Sea Fire Salt and Baan Huraa for lunch, and Terrazzo and Origami for dinner. We also had a special dinner (which was supposed to be at the beach but had to be changed to the board walk because of strong wins). We did not go for half or full board because we had breakfast included in our room. That gave us the flexibility to choose whatever we wanted to eat and not having to top-up for some of the items we have chosen. However, between the two, I think half board is more than enough as breakfast at Fushi is very good and would probably last you beyond lunch.

I think what really differentiates the resort from all the other places that we have been is really the staff. The service quality is exceedingly high - you will be genuinely greeted and smiled at everywhere you go, conversations take place all the time. Everyone is like a friend without being intrusive at all. This balance is hard, and staff must have been well-trained and experienced to do this. They also take care of minor details even before we realised they were important.

Manaas was really amazing. When we arrived, he asked us about our room arrangements as we had booked the beach villa for the first and last night. He told us that he could arrange for us to have two consecutive nights at the beach villa so that we did not have to move as we had young children. We did not even think about asking, but Manaas thought about it for us and made the necessary arrangements!

They buggy drivers were always prompt and helpful, always checking in on our activities and making great recommendations.

Joy (our favourite host!), Shunaan, Azeel were excellent at Fushi and made sure that we were well-taken care of daily. We are just amazed by their kindness and how they made us feel so comfortable during breakfast.

We spent so much time at Aqua daily and the staff (Navi, Riza, Ali, Jitendra and Lalith) were exceptional. They always looked out for the kids and ensured that they were fed at different times of the day.

I was very impressed by the staff from Origami too. Sony quickly set up a table with pretty decorations so that we could celebrate our little girl's birthday, and found us a place at the teppanyaki table even though we did not make reservations. To ensure that our kids were close by, she made arrangements with Logu to ensure that their table was just beside us. Logu really took care of our kids - the little one fell asleep halfway through the teppanyaki session. He carried her and made sure that she had two cushy chairs to sleep safely. That is exceptional service for sure.

In all, we are exceedingly thankful of how well we were taken care of, and how beautiful the island/s were. We have not been to other resorts in Maldives before, but we do not have to look further because Anantara Dhigu ticks all boxes (and more!) for us. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back for sure in future.

Best experience my family has ever had in 73 trips that we have covered!

I cannot begin to tell you how scenic this hotel is. Every view on every side is beautiful. It is literally paradise. I uploaded a picture of me on Instagram and about 36 people asked me which place is this, it is that gorgeous.

The staff has been trained in such a way that you feel like this is the epitome of luxury. Every staff member greets you at every point they meet you on the entire island. I wish I could take them back home. Extremely understanding and welcoming staff. They greeted and bid us farewell as if we were their personal guests. They have the best arrangements in the middle of the ocean.

Food is brilliant. They have cycles for you to roam around the island too.

I assure you, you will not get bored on this island.
