Simply Amazing

Anantara Dhigu team delivers the ultimate hospitality excellence service experience the moment you start making plans and enquiries. Its most convenient online live chat feature manned by an ever so helpful team was key to us booking this resort. 2 days of enquiries and chatting ended with a firm room reservation.

Arrival arrangements were well coordinated with the Hulhumale hotel where we spent the night before. The biggest surprise was the very accomodating handling and checking-in process. This is something we very rarely experience with any other 5 Star resorts like Banyan, W etc. Anantara Dhigu makes compromises that helps us just get on with our holiday. Amazing. Fantasy Island style arrival drums, a fantastic team from front desk to management staff all deliver superb feel good factor.

1st Night was in a Beach Villa. A wonderful spacious villa with total privacy provided by beach shrubs and planting with a private path leading to the clear pool like waters of a classic Maldivian island.

The rest of the stay was in a lagoon facing Sunrise Overwater villa was a completely different experience. It really is stunning and words cannot do it justice. Literally just jump in the safe and calm lagoon waters anytime we felt like it. The huge room and superb amenities made us so comfortable.

The package we got included halfboard + airport transfers. Initial thoughts of halfboard meals was conservative and a grey area. Our fears were unfounded, the food was simply superb. A huge breakfast + fun filled sea activities + a sumptious dinner completed our days everyday at Anantara Maldives. Everyday their team of cheerful, respectful and helpful team contributed to make our days just fantastic. The chatty cheerful phillipino hostess has 2 kids and her hubby works in Aqua bar, buggy porter takes creative pictures adding fun to the pix, Khalid, Jalal, Liz, Aee more. names impossible to remember but we know you and appreciate your commitment to make our stay great.

The management whose rules are
not hard and fast like the usual “Check-in 3pm Check out 12pm” this simple but highly appreciated compromise really started the mood for a great holiday.

We will be more regular visitors to the brand if the next stay lives up to the impossibly high standards set by your Maldives crew.

Thank you so much to the Anantara Reservation team Sala and Jane for the convicing booking services. Dhigu Maldives team members for making it a million dollar stay for a fraction of the costs. Absolutely Wonderful!!

Blue and green like you have never see, we wanted a short holiday in the sun & Anantara Dhigu was better than we could of imagined. We had an over water bungalow which allowed us to swim from our deck down the stairs into the most amazing water ever. We couldn't fault the service, lots of happy smiling staff. We would go back in a heart beat. The only negative is the alcohol which is very expensive.

My freinds and I were very much enjoyed the whole trip here!
From our first step out of the airport which we were greeted and warm welcome from the hotel's represent staff. During we were waiting for a speedboat, we got a surprised greeting in Thai by Mysha who became our google on the island :). Since we arrived to the resort, we felt in love with all staff's hospitality. They were smiling, they seem happy with what their roles are. They are always around you with prompt service and also give you a space for privacy. I do believe that there are a lots of hotels and resort in Maldives even more beatiful than Dhigu but the staff here make us feel welcome. Beach is so clean, well maintain, everywhere can stop to swim. Try both great breakfast at Dhigu n Veli, chill out at Dhoni, Gulhifishi,Aqua pool. End the evening at SeaFireSalt. Lots of activities we've done here. Breathtaking with Parasailing. Our unforgetable trip^^.
Thanks again to look after us very well(Mysha,Doi,Ahran, Jalaal, Kala, Chotika, sorry if not mention others) We will definately come back and highly recommend to our friendssssssss. Let's the pictures tell our great time ^^

While Me and my mum reach airport, our friendly Anantara team welcome us with beverage at the private launch. We took the speedboat for 40mins to reach the private island. It’s very convenient and relaxing.
We stay at Sunset Over water villa, although is a little expensive than Sunrise Over Water villa but it has more privatcy compare to Sunrise Villa. This is a very nice place just to keep yourself away from the outside world, the best plan here is no plan. You book whatever you activities you want when you want, Ha!

We met Brian Moh, he is a scuba diver in Aquafanatics. He’s friendly and very willing to explain the courses to us, also he encourage us to join the scuba diving or snorkelling because the underwater world is a very beautiful place. And so I join the turtle snorkelling, my life guard is Jeeth Ahmed, he’s a responsible life guard, very willing to help us and always take care of us. It was a wonderful trip. I rent a go pro to took photos, the life guard also helped me to took lots of beautiful photo in the water.

The food and view at Baan Huraa is amazing! We get a very nice seat, took lots of beautiful photos, had a great afternoon. Sea.Fire.Salt is our all time favourite while staying at Anantara. So that’s a must to try that out. Baby shark, stingray, octopus, and lots of fishes can be see just right beside us.

I met Jarvis the cultural guru, he’s very nice, always sitting under a coconut tree and making his handcraft. He know lots of Maldivian cultural and I’m surprised that he even know Malaysian culture (I’m a Malaysian). He made a hat using banana leaves for me as souvenir, made a basket for my mum. That’s the best thing I get from Maldives. You can see the beautiful hat in the picture. I wear the hat and rent a kayak to the picnic island. It was fun! Everyone can rent for free for 2hours a day.

Maldives is all about tan lines and good times. The next time I visit Maldives I’ll still stick to Anantara.
