Sprouting from a Roman temple base, the 296-room, 37-suite Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan has an all-glass edifice and houses some of the city’s largest standard guestrooms (at almost 700 square-feet). All guestrooms are decked out with modern musts such as 55-inch TVs, white marble bathrooms, terry robes and 12-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and feature earth-tone décor punctuated by pops of foggy blue and patterned green-gold carpeting. Elsewhere, there’s an Olympic-size pool, 19-room spa, fitness center and children’s program. When hunger strikes, head to Lobo, which combines Prime Steakhouse and Portovenere into one lobby dining spot. And after, get the night underway at TEMPUS club for salsa dancing or karaoke.
In the Area
Jakarta radiates out from Merdeka Square and its climbable gold-tipped Monas (National Monument) is an excellent place to start getting a grip on this frenetic, fantastic city, which is also Southeast Asia’s most populous. Nearby, the massive Istiqlal Mosque and Catholic Gereja Katedral are must-stop attractions, but you can also discover the archipelago’s storied history at the Museum Nasional, and embrace its economic powerhouse present at the Grand Indonesia Shopping Town in South Jakarta’s Golden Triangle (Setiabudi) gov/biz hub.
How to Get There
Was staying at 1918 and would like to thankyou for saiful, najla, elvin for the nice touch and for muhtar at reception desk was also very attentive. was a very nice stay and will be back really soon..
I am a Bonvy Titanium Elite Member and stay all over the world, from harp playing in reception to the personal pictures left in my room for a special remembrance day, all made this a fantastic stay.. The suite we had was amazing along with the attention to detail from all staff members, my new home in Jakarta :)
An old school hotel that probably needs a little aesthetic nip & tuck but the service is exemplary. An example- I went to the gym with a friend and one of their front desk staff overheard us talking about working out, by the time I had returned to my room 2 isotonic drinks had been left and a fabulous note left from a gentleman called Ibnu. The note explained that in order to enjoy burgers and chips we have to be dedicated to the gym. Hilarious and v thoughtful. Vivian at breakfast was also incredibly helpful and happy.
Rooms comfortable but old style, The aircon blowing in your face once on the bed, not much amenities in the room, 3 towels for a couple stay, The drop of with car at the lobby is very small so long waits for our car could pull up. The lift card is not properly working.
I feel happy staying here, the calm atmosphere of employees who are friendly like their own family.
with good facilities, I hope to be able to return later
the best place in the city
a comfortable place to visit
