Just returned from China and the above hotel no longer available - CLOSED. If you have this booked get it changed NOW. Can’t rate it. Had to pay to stay in a nearby hostel. Tours for the following days all had to be re arranged.

Wonderful little Property on a side street in the heart of Beijing

This is a great little property in the heart of Beijing. Our room was cozy and had a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Unfortunately my son and I were visiting in January so we didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the courtyard. The staff was very attentive and it has a wonderful, small, on-sight restaurant. The staff put out a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. I've had friends stay in the large luxury hotels of Beijing but I'd take this property over the glitz of the international hotels that dot the city. Loved this place.

One of my favorite hotels in the world

This hotel was the perfect place to be greeted as first time visitors to China. The rooms and facilities luxurious whilst retaining authentic Chinese culture. The food was incredible and our stay included a daily breakfast which was delicious. The staff go out of their way to make the guest feel welcome and comfortable. What an unforgettable experience.

Great family vacation~

The Red Wall Garden was a nice oasis from the hustle and chaos of Beijing. Was our first time trip to Beijing with my family and this hotel was a good choice as the staff is very nice and helpful.

Rooms were clean enough, but wished we had a bath tub rather than just a shower. The rooms surrounded the courtyard and would have preferred to get a room on a higher floor for privacy. Felt safe enough but left the curtains closed at all times since we were on ground floor. Recommend asking for an upper floor room.

We really enjoyed the breakfast... they were quite accommodating and loved the noodle soup dish they made upon request (i wanted to try something more authentic).
