How to Get There
First time in Aruba and at the Divi. Presently here. The smell of mold in the tower rooms 905 and 902 was insane. It smacks you right in the face from the moment you step out of the elevator. And we saw actual mold on the events. Then they showed us 103 and another room in the new section 800s ground floor. Mold smell also and a white substance around the vent that appears to be mold but too high to inspect for definite conclusion. And if we moved then it was an additional $350 for the same crap and health risk. Decided to go on a lower floor and try a humidifier. Here’s hoping it works and the risk doesn’t land me in the hospital. The manager tried to
Came for a 6 day trip with my daughter and was disappointed right from the start. I was told on the phone when calling to confirm our reservation that our package included daily breakfast. Upon arrival I was told this was not true. Next our bathroom in our room was covered in hair and the shower drain was clogged. My first shower the water looked up around my ankles. I called the front desk and no one answered so I figured we’d just deal with it. Next the safe in the room malfunctioned locking all our money inside and our passports. We waited over an hour for maintenance to come repair it. Finally every time we called the front desk to ask a question about upcoming resort activities no one had an answer and directed us to someone else who couldn’t help either. Not a good experience. Would recommend looking elsewhere if you want a hassle free vacation.

Food and service was good. Resort has wonderful beach area and amazing area to swim in with white sandy beaches. Really nice swim up pools to bar , Jacuzzi and kids pools in several areas. Live entertainment in the Pure Beach Restaurant/bar area daily. Bingo and other games going on as well. Resort has nice little gift / grocery shop .Perfect temperature each day 80-82 degrees , not too humid and ALWAYS Windy. You get use to it and it actually keeps the temperature so nice and comfortable to sit out in. We did the “pirate ship” excursion to snorkel, great excursion had a blast , be sure to swing from the rope into the ocean , It’s a must do along with the “Wine & and Dine Kukoo Kunuka tour” great food and wine tasting at 4 local upscale restaurants ! You are well liquored up and feed! Amazing food and wine! Aruba is one of my new favorite place to relax and have a great time. You have to visit! Ps. Felt so safe there! Saw nothing negative and no beggars or people on beach trying to sell stuff or begging you to shop in their shops. Classy affordable safe place to bring the whole family! Be sure to visit the local grocery stores to see all the amazing kabobs, cheese and Dutch pasteries!
Divi Phoenix is a wonderful facility. Quiet beach, close to any shop or restaurant you desire. We don't ever rent a car because everything we wanted was within walking distance. Public buses are safe and convenient.
Great location, wonderful staff, clean apartments. Beautiful beaches and pools with a swim up bar. Bubble pool for little ones. Food was pretty good, not fantastic though! Entertainment most nights at hotel . Couldn’t ask for better weather, we’ve been here twice.
Grocery 5 mins away by car, 15-20 mins walk, so you can purchase what you need if you don’t want to eat out everyday. Great selection of preseasoned meats and yummy desserts. Hotel offers a grilling area and full kitchen in rooms.

25-30 mins to airport.
Must visit baby beach and natural bridge.
