How to Get There
Stayed here in May & it was very nice! Wonderful quiet pool, comfy beds, nice bar all in a quiet out of the way spot. I used to live in Little Rock and remember when this was built as a Lagniappe hotel... over 30 years ago!
The rooms at this hotel are amazing. We had a king bed and a large sectional couch in our room (and two TVs!). This hotel is perfect for a work trip to Little Rock as the rooms have a desk and WiFi is included in the rate. The breakfast is served pretty early, so set your alarm to get there before 9am during the week! It's a little far from the riverwalk area of Little Rock, but a quick uber ride will get you there in no time. The hotel has a restaurant with limited hours and there's not much food around the hotel (the area is pretty residential), but there's great southern hospitality all around!
This hotel is amazing, exceptionally clean, friendly staff and spacious rooms. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was incredible! This has without a doubt become my hotel of choice when I come to stay in Little Rock.
I found out about The Burgundy Hotel through my previous Graduate Assistant, Mia. She works the front desk and hosts at Table 28. I LOVE THIS HOTEL! The lobby is absolutely stunning. The rooms are even better! The Presidential Suites can fit a good amount of people in them and are luxurious. They are sleek and very comfortable. They have an ample amount of space and the cleanliness is up to par. Everything in the room is nice. I even met the GM Shannon Clark upon arrival. He and Mia made sure that my stay was better than I could have expected.
We stayed over the weekend for my niece's wedding; the entire hotel was booked for wedding guests, so it was a very friendly crowd, all celebrating the same thing.
The rooms were terrific, the WiFi more than adequate, abundant hot water (something to consider when 50 full rooms are preparing for the same events at the same time) and good pressure. I am not a fan of foam pillows, so those were . . . acceptable. Housekeeping was courteous and convenient, not pushy as to time of cleaing.
The staff was incredible; everyone was friendly, everyone was helpful. After three nights and three days, it was as if they had befriended all the guests.
Though we did not eat in the restaurant, the "farewell breakfast" buffet was set up there. It was hot, deliciious, and plentiful, with gracious service.
My only nitpick is that the sound in the courtyard was amplified by the roof; one could practically hear conversations and, certainly, if a voice was raised on the open ground floor, the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms on the atrium could hear it.
I would go back, and I would stay there, time and again.
