Peaceful, luxury oasis in the midst of busy Hot Springs

We stayed here for two nights on our way from Houston to Michigan. Last stayed in 2007 when the Inn was run by the original owners and we felt it was even better this time around.

-our room (Paris) was quite small but adequate with a double bed and, the best feature, a delightful patio overlooking the lake where we enjoyed tea and chats and access to the lake

-make sure you take advantage of all the lake has to offer. We took the two Inn kayaks out for a lengthy paddle around the islands but you could also ride in the Inn’s hosted tour to see around the lake

-the staff was all brilliant but special mention of Sky for bringing us a kettle to make our own tea in the room with boiling water and for arranging a lovely vegetarian breakfast for us on our first morning

-the food was exceptional. We ate breakfast and dinner there and the tastes and flavors in all dishes were lovely

We will certainly be back for another visit as time allows us to be in that part of the world. This Inn is right up there with the best the world has to offer.

Exceptionally Wonderful - As Always

I stay at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn every time I visit Hot Springs, AR. Being able to retreat to such a calm, beautiful and soothing environment as Lookout Point releases the anxiety and stress of my active life. The staff is exceptional - they always greet me with a smile and my name. The breakfast, cocktail hour, and dinner offerings in the Bistro are the best I have had in Hot Springs - flavorful, creative and fresh. If I have to leave before breakfast, they will always pack a bag with their home-baked muffins for the trip!

The rooms are singularly and elegantly designed and most have a balcony with rocking chairs to enjoy the peaceful view of the lake. I stayed in Birdsong the last trip and was delighted with it's blue French theme. I have always slept well in the comfy beds, and enjoy the soaking jet tubs to relax before bedtime.

I have stayed in five star hotels around the world, and I would rate Lookout Point higher than most of those. It truly is a gem!

Beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas Getaway

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn and had a wonderful experience! We stayed in Birdsong, which is on the 2nd floor and has a balcony overlooking the lake and grounds. It's a small room, but was perfect for us...very clean...queen bed with soft, silky sheets...a desk and seating area...TV screen...serene wallpaper. Absolutely loved the balcony, especially in the morning, sipping a cup of their delicious specially blended coffee, watching the cardinals flitting back and forth...enjoying the crepe myrtle trees and the serenity of Lake Hamilton! Breakfasts were creative and delicious...did I mention the awesome coffee?! We had dinner there one evening in the Bistro - Don prepared a perfect pasta primavera for both of us (one with chicken, the other, shrimp). They have homemade cookies and a Keurig for coffee or tea throughout the day. There are several places to sit and relax near the lake, as well as in the cozy sunroom. There are also complementary kayaks or a canoe or paddleboat to take out (we didn't do any water activities). The inn is located about 15-20 minutes from the downtown Hot Springs Historic district. The owners, Sam and Nancy are wonderful hosts who made us feel so welcome and have such passion and energy! We also appreciated Sheila, Sky, Tiffany, and Don, as well as the housekeeping staff. Thank you Lookout Point Lakeside Inn for a wonderfully romantic and relaxing experience!
