Located in the heart of charming Sedona, the Orchards Inn works well for couples and families as a base for exploring central Arizona’s towns and national parks. The guestrooms offer stunning views of the red rocks of Oak Creek Canyon thanks to large windows and private balconies or patios; you can also take in the scenery on the deck of the hotel’s heated pool or hot tub. Start your day with a meal from the hotel’s breakfast bar and end it with margaritas and Southwestern fare on the patio at the inn’s restaurant, the Taos Cantina.
In the Area
Thanks to its location in uptown Sedona, boutiques, galleries and restaurants are all just a short walk from the hotel. For a memorable meal, make a reservation at L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek for alfresco dining beneath a canopy of cottonwood and sycamore trees. Get outdoors with a hike to Cathedral Rock, sign up for a jaunt through Diamondback Gulch with Pink Jeep Tours, or take a daytrip to the Grand Canyon, Montezuma’s Castle or the Petrified Forest national parks.
How to Get There
The Orchards is a heavenly resort in the heart of Sedona, the staff is engaging and most helpful. Our amazing views from our balcony were the best. We took a Vortex Pink Jeep Tour that was most enjoyable.
We will return to the The Orchards again!
Amazing views from balcony/back of room. Street side view is deceivingly bland. Very comfortable beds. Included breakfast pleased all family members. My son chose to sleep on the sofa bed because it was closest to the view out of the sliding glass doors!
The location is perfect because you're so close to shops and don't need to worry about finding a place to park. The views from our Red Rock King room balcony were amazing. I can easily see why people spend a lot of time out there. The hot tub and pool area were wonderful after our hike earlier in the day. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a problem with our AC unit, but the front desk staff and Kevin the Manager took great care of us. The included breakfast buffet at 89Agave across the parking lot was better than expected with eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals, breads, and more. Again, we'll be back!
The private balcony provided a beautiful view of the red mountains. The breakfast was probably the best I've had at an inn. The bed had an abundance of pillows and the mattress was very comfortable. The room was very quiet and private, and still easy access to the highway and attractions.
We were traveling with a small dog and this hotel was one of the few that allowed this. There was a group of 4 rooms that had an enclosed back section. That had grass. This is in addition to the covered patios for each room. It was perfect. Just an FYI you cannot keep your dog in the room unattended. But most places have patios or outdoor eating that will allow for your dog.
