How to Get There
My awesome stay started when I walk upto the door, and it automatically opens like your going into a castle. Was greeted immediately by the front desk. She pulled up my reservation and conformed my stay.. she gave me a upgraded room, without asking which was I appreciative. its a sprawling resort so had to drive around the room. Once there, was amazed. Was upgraded to a suite. I nice fireplace, couch, and chair. Very roomy and comfortable. Bed was also awesome. had a balcony with a view of the mountain, and putting green. whirlpool tub in the bathroom with soft robes to slip into after.
Loved this place, will def come back!!!!
You have been visiting Sedona and Poco Diablo for Conference almost every year since 1998. It’s charm has remained the same. Warmth of the staff, great dining with views. Although on this visit it was freezing so could not fully enjoy the great outdoors. I always have Poco King with Balcony
The property is spotless. Our room needs some minor repairs, but nothing that detracted significantly from the experience. The restaurant pricing is in line with the Sedona area and the menu items are generally well-prepared. Like most modern restaurants, this one is too loud to have a normal conversation. That seems to be a trend (see Atlantic Magazine article in December, 2018 for more on this). We weren't there for recreation, but the golf course, pool, spa, and exercise facilities all appeared well-maintained. The adjacency to Sedona without being in the thick of the traffic and congestion was greatly appreciated.
We were here for 5 days in the quiet period between Thanksgiving and Christmas. All of the staff are helpful and friendly, which makes a difference when you're in an area you haven't been before. The room was nice, with great views looking out at the golf course and onward to the hills and rocks. The bar and restaurant are great, and some of the attractions in town (like Pink Jeeps) will come pick you up right at the hotel entrance, which is a huge help.
Poco Diablo resort is located with spectacular views and offers a modest par three golf course on the property. It’s a lovely location if the property is a bit older and somewhat frayed at the edges. Great hikes nearby and all the new age offerings abound in Sedona.
