How to Get There
My husband and I stayed just one night on our way to Grand Canyon after touring Sedona all day. Conveniently located just outside downtown Sedona. The resort is divided into buildings of 6 or 7 units. Ours looked over the golf course. Fireplace, jacuzzi tub, refrigerator, king bed. Very clean. Everything was perfect. Quiet surroundings, great view of the night sky. Enjoy your stay. We did.
We love staying at Poco Diablo because the grounds are so beautiful and the rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and food is good. It's a few minute drive from town which is perfect if you don't love a lot of people all the time.
I'm incredibly hard to please, and I know It, which usually means that I'm disappointed... But not HERE; every person I experienced at this resort was amazing, from the reservations, all the way through to room service. Everyone was so kind, so helpful, and I didn't feel like it was a fake kindness. I felt everyone went above and beyond (I wish I remembered everyone's name so that I could thank them, but sadly I don't. The rooms are well appointed, and feel fresh and inviting.
This resort is perfect for dogs! SO dog friendly. I've been to other hotels that say they are pet friendly, But not like this. My Sierra got a wonderful welcome bag, and I truly felt that she was welcome! They have specific rooms for you & your pup(s) that are really close to a pet area, which is really nice because let's be honest one of the drawbacks to traveling with your pup is taking him or her out to go potty; it in evitable that your dog is going to need to go to the bathroom once you've put on your pajamas, and nobody likes traipsing through a hotel in their jammies, or having to change back into street clothes so they can walk a distance just to potty the dog. I've had the most wonderful he relaxing time here, and I hope we get the chance to come back again. Next time I plan to spend time in the spa.
