Wonderful Hidden Gem

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and stayed in the Star Gazer suite. The grounds are beautiful, and it is a very peaceful setting. The staff were pleasant upon check in and during our amazing breakfast on the outdoor patio. We look forward to returning soon!

A positive healing experience
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I participated in a wellness program at the Lodge at Sedona for the month of July, 2018. My overall experience was incredibly positive. Between the accommodations, location, innkeepers, housekeepers, kitchen staff, doctors, activities team and other guests, i was able to meet (exceed) my health and healing goals, learn a ton, eat healthy and feel incredibly supported. Specifically, i fasted for 21 days, 14 of which were only water. The doctors met with me twice a day to see how i was doing, respond to any questions i had and address any concerns that arose. They sent me for labs and monitored how my body responded to the fast. Both were incredibly knowledgeable about holistic medicine, the body and strategies to address my unique concerns. The innkeepers were responsive, attentive and caring. At one point during my fast, when my energy was so low, i needed to go to the store up the street and Kim graciously drove me, waited and brought me back. Kim, Tristan, Leah, Naomi and Russell were so friendly and accommodating; not just to me, but also with others. The kitchen staff were so friendly. And there were times when they offered classes about juicing and preparing foods the Gerson way. Bottom line, i really felt supported during the longest fast i've ever done AND the first water fast i've ever done. And i didn't feel pressure to participate in activities - people simply understood that i needed to rest. But i did attend some classes and watched a few of the many videos they have on health, healing and pure entertainment. My health improved in ways that exceeded my expectations and i know that it had to do in part to being able to be in a place and with people that demonstrated such care.

Disappointing

Went for Anniversary with much anticipation & really wanting a room w/a view of mountains. While “quaint”; we did not feel the $250.00 a night price was worth it, at all, considering the tinyshower & the curtain that stuck to my leg or the “natural” breakfast of beans, rice, runny eggs & spinach.

Loved it!

This lodge is restful, beautiful and exciting all at the same time. Comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. This location is perfect...close to everyplace we planned to go. I plan to come again next year.
