How to Get There
We stayed only one night after a dinner with friends and we were very happy with our room. It is worth paying extra (€10 in our case) for a room with a balcony. Our balcony on the 7th floor overlooked a quiet courtyard and the gardens of neighbouring buildings. A divider separated the sitting area from the bed, which was very comfortable. A large bathtub and separate shower. If you need chocloate, they sell excellent boxes at reception. Checkout was a civilised noon.
Visited with my children. Rooms and bathroom are huge and very tastefully decorated - nice to relax in after a busy day. Staff were very helpful eg parking, using the trams. It’s a good location as near trams but also a short walk to many areas. Large selection for breakfast set us up for the day! Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful spacious room with twin beds.
The staff is friendly.
The breakfast is standard.
The location is not that convenient because is not in the centre but located in a residential area. But its 2 stops away by tram from station.
The room we booked was very spacious and had a very nice modern design. I especially liked the huge bed. The location is also good, around 15 mins tops from the train station. I would say the only issue is that it is a bit noisy, you could hear voices from other rooms, but overall decent hotel.
THE GOOD: Refurbished hotel, with large rooms and tasteful design. A 15 minutes walk from the train station.
THE NOISE: The noise! There has been noise a lot of the night (like doors getting slammed, things being dropped, voices, etc), so we couldn't get to sleep until 03.00. We got to Antwerp late in the evening, we were exhausted, we only wanted to sleep but this was not the hotel for us. We might have been unlucky with neighbours being loud a big part of the night, but the sound isolation certainly is lacking. We complained and we got offered some compensation.
