Overview

A stylish five-star Sheraton beach stay on the Canary isle of Fuerteventura, with spa access and half board

The Lowdown

The Canary Island of Fuerteventura is favoured by beach aficionados and active types alike. Embrace both in five-star luxury at Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort. Standing proudly in palatial fashion overlooking the magnificent sweep of beach at Caleta de Fuste, it pays tribute to Canarian design in its architecture, with arched balustraded balconies, terracotta buildings and red tiled roofs. Immaculately landscaped tropical gardens, complete with babbling waterfall, and manicured lawns slope gently towards the sea.
Its grounds house an impressive freeform oasis-like swimming pool, guarded by natural boulders and palm trees, plus three other pools. Enjoy a cocktail at the poolside bar or amble down for a stroll or sunbathe on the long expanse of sandy beach. Elsewhere you’ll find a flagship 1000-square-metre spa – a destination in itself. Golf buffs can tee off on a mini-golf course on site or enjoy premium access to the 18-hole courses at Fuerteventura Golf Club and Golf Club Salinas Antigua.
Back at the hotel, you can dine at one of four restaurants that run the gamut of global cuisine, before rounding off the evening with a cocktail in the Piano Lobby Bar.

Beautiful garden
Anker12345

The hotel is beautiful, the staff helpful, breakfast probably the best we have ever eaten. The garden is magical, one of the reasons is why we come back.
The game room needs refurbishment. Rooms cleaning - much worse than before. After the cleaning it was hard to say if it was really done. Unfilled shampoos, missing bathrobes … Several times was not clean (we have put "non disturb" in the afternoon for 10 minutes before leaving for dinner. Normally the cleaner come back later…
Location - middle of the island, so even we do not like the beach close to hotel, with the car you can easily reach very nice beaches close to Corralejo.
The only thing - during check out check the bills from restaurant. Each year there were some extra bills but it was was quickly resolved.

Must stay hotel on Fuerteventura

This hotel was great. We booked with points and got a free breakfast and dinner - and the food was fantastic. The rooms were huge and a great size for 2+ people, for example, kids. The beach was extraordinary, with miles and miles of open beach space and no crowds at all. The staff was also fantastic and helpful all of the way.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was one of the largest I have ever seen in a hotel / resort.

We would have stayed longer, but since we were traveling from the US, we only stayed for two days.

All around, this hotel is a must do in Fuerteventura.

Relaxed, spacious stay
graceandnature

I stayed for two weeks for work at the beginning of September and had a spacious room with balcony overlooking the sea and pool side of the hotel. It was very relaxing in the evening and relatively quiet, possibly due to the time of year. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms pristine with large double bathroom ( almost the same size as my bedroom!) The pool was equally relaxing ( although i only spent one morning there). Breakfast is the usual large buffet with everything you could want on offer. The hotel is a nice distance from the central castillo, making it feel a little quieter and while it has multiple hotels beside and a small shopping centre it does feel like it stands alone ( which i much prefer). There is direct access through a secure gate onto the beach path which leads to multiple beaches and also if you like towards Castillo. The hotel also has lots of parking to the front. If heading to Calet de Fuste I would definitely recommend it as easily the best hotel ( in my opinion!!)
