Impressive food and execution location

The location is excellent and close to down town, markets, parks and cafes.
The sea view is beautiful and we were always impressed by the buffet. Top chefs who have eye for details must run the hotel's kitchen.
Tasty food, great presentation and wide variety.
Especially on breakfast; I really liked that there were many kinds of fresh vegetables and a corner for healthy food.

The staff are very polite and helpful.

For this high standard hotel I expected the rooms and the toilets to be slightly cleaner. But all in all it is very good and we enjoyed our stay and had a pleasant experience

TOP CLASS!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, after being at the Barut acanthus for 1 week and then Barut hemera for 2 weeks plus.

We were very glad to end our journey at the akra because it was truly a top class experience and a refreshing change from Barut hemera. It is a five star hotel. And the service provided was excellent.

The room was fabulous with excellent views of the sea. The welcome snacks and drinks provided was also a lovely touch.
Although we didn’t get to experience the outdoor pools etc, however it was still a very enjoyable stay.

The lady answering the call centre was brilliant, always friendly and easy to talk to!
The hotel also left surprise gifts for my daughter which was adorable and very much appreciated! The food from pablito was also a refreshing change from the hotel buffet and always tasted amazing!
We didn’t have time to try out asmani.
We did try the vegan restaurant however the staff in there were a bit glum when we entered and not even welcoming. Food wasn’t amazing, I ordered aloo ghobi and my husband cauliflower curry, however they both tasted the same and salty.
The staff at the spa desk were also very glum and not very welcoming.

However the relations team were great and very helpful. So were the reception in helping sort out noisy customers next door to our room. Also a massive shout out to Hamide nur from the children’s playroom was absolutely awesome with my daughter!!!

Overall a lovely experience, and we would definitely consider coming back again. It doesn’t have a proper beach but it still has other amenities and is close to many shops and restaurants and old town. Thank you akra hotel for your hospitality.

Absolutely fantastic!

We spent 8 nights at Akra Hotel in October 2018. It was fantastic! The staff are very friendly, the facilities are superb and the food is really good. We loved hanging out in Pablitos and in the cafe with the piano. The restaurant and bar on the top floor are also excellent. We had a room with a sea view and I felt so fortunate waking up each day to such a beautiful scene. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Antalya is beautiful and very cheap at the moment so do go.

a week in antalya

As I had never been to Turkey I wasn't sure what to expect.Antalya is such a nice place it has everything to offer. Akra hotel is well situated not far from town and not far from the beach. Its on a cliff so there are quite a few steps to walk down to the water, sunbeds are on a cliff edge where drinks and food can be had. Plenty of towels which you can serve yourself. Water is crystal clear but a little cold. There are also 2 lovely pools. Taxis are cheap £12 to the airport, £6.- to town or to the beach. There are private beaches where you can rent a sunbed and eat amazing food.Service at the hotel was great, lovely ppl, rooms are of average size with a small balcony. We had half board so we had dinner at the hotel as it was quite cold in the evenings. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was amazing. If you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel you can take a walk along the cliff where there are quite a few restaurants looking out over the water. It was truly a pleasant stay
