How to Get There
we stayed for 5 days, easy to walk to centro and all of the sites, the breakfast was amazing and the restaurant was excellent, the sea bass ceviche was out of this world,
pleasant surprise that the minibar was complimentary-so we did not have to buy water or drinks,
would definitely stay here again next time in Seville!
This is a beautiful hotel and all ingredients are there! Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed by the first moments at arrival. This was our 4th 5 start hotel in a week and the first one where we were not helped with the suitcases and did not feel really welcome. The man who was at reception gave us the feeling like he was in a hurry. He called the bar for a quick water with lemon and when we had one zip he rolled us to follow him for a tour. It was just a few steps in the Pallacio and he kind of told us where everything was. Our room was not ready yet which was oke since we were early. But we would have loved to be offered the opportunity to lounge somewhere. Maybe be offered towels and a spa treatment, a table for lunch... he did not mention any opportunity. Just that the room wasn’t ready and that he would see us in 3 hours.
When we arrived back at 15:00 our room was ready. It was a really nice room with complementary mini bar. The girl who showed us around than was really nice.
First night we’ve had dinner in the hotel, it was really good! Breakfast is really good with lots of options. Also for me as a vegan.
A breakfast menu would be nice.
Check out was good and the man that worked at reception that day gave me the welcome feeling I needed 2 days earlier.
Housekeeping did not come in for turn down service both nights and threw away my reusable Starbucks cup without checking it ????????
All and all a great spot. Luxurious, historical and in the city center of Andalusia.
Being a five star hotel we would have like to have more of a connection with the staff but we missed that feeling here.
I booked a luxurious room for 660,- euro’s for 2 nights. Unfortunately I expected more than what we got.
Spent 3 nights here in early November and loved it. From the amazingly attentive staff to the meticulously cared for rooms and unbelievable bathrooms, Palacio de Villapanes will impress. Check out the rooftop as well. Had breakfast one morning as well in the courtyard and was really strong start to the day.
