A four-star Malaga hotel overlooking the beach, with contemporary interiors and plenty of luxe touches

The Lowdown

Overlooking San Andrés Beach, Vincci Málaga is a new and stylish four-star hotel with contemporary rooms between Malaga Airport and the city centre. You can expect beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea, promenade people-watching and easy access to downtown Malaga.
The hotel is boldly modern to the touch throughout, with some cool light fittings and smart monochrome decor jazzed up with splashes of colour. Bar Lounge Room Star is a cool grey and red relaxation area to grab a drink in and the sleek Ocean Restaurant holds black and white furniture and vivid abstract art on the walls. If its warm enough, you can dine outside on the pillared terrace, overlooking the airy, palm-dotted Calle Pacífico street that fronts the beach. Vincci Málaga has the best of both worlds – a scenic sandy location and easy access to Malaga’s sights.

A fake 4 star
Reviewed 1 week ago

My experience with Vinci is not the first but, sure the worse so fat. I booked via Booking and I was proposed an upgrade sea view for 27,5 E about ( price doesn’t matter) problem is that there isn’t a sea view as there are buildings covering any little view.
Personnel at reception does not have ( a couple of ladies) the attitude to serve customers of a 4 star standard as the room service who despite a do not disturb sign and me screaming, they entered while I was in the bathroom.
Then it was even difficult to explain the concept to a lady of reception that the board sign “do not dialogue “ means to not disturb.
The breakfast is the poorest I have ever seen in such a level of hotel. 2 people at service of a full room. Basically no service as they can’t cope.
To talk of 4 star hotel the management needs seriously to avoid trainee and give proper services for the price paid, which wasn’t cheap.

Nice hotel but NO swimming pool despite what you may see on line. The pool shown is for the use of the local community and not for people in the hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. Very handy for the beach.

Nice getaway

Very nice stay. Hotel close to the sea, as we wanted. Spotless clean. Helpful staff. Option for late check out, very handy for us having the return flight in the evening. Unfortunately we didn't try the restaurant so I can say anything about this:) . For some could be an issue the fact that is a bit far from city centre (40 min walk). A valid option is always calling a taxi:)
Overall strongly recommended!
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Nice place too stay and friendly staff. Close to beach with great rooms with big beds and good room service. Taxi into malaga is 6euro. I dont have alot of spanish so it was hard work at the bars and shops around this location. If your coming to this area to stay dont expect alot of english to be spoken and most food is local spanish food.
