A four-star Malaga hotel overlooking the beach, with contemporary interiors and plenty of luxe touches

The Lowdown

Overlooking San Andrés Beach, Vincci Málaga is a new and stylish four-star hotel with contemporary rooms between Malaga Airport and the city centre. You can expect beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea, promenade people-watching and easy access to downtown Malaga.
The hotel is boldly modern to the touch throughout, with some cool light fittings and smart monochrome decor jazzed up with splashes of colour. Bar Lounge Room Star is a cool grey and red relaxation area to grab a drink in and the sleek Ocean Restaurant holds black and white furniture and vivid abstract art on the walls. If its warm enough, you can dine outside on the pillared terrace, overlooking the airy, palm-dotted Calle Pacífico street that fronts the beach. Vincci Málaga has the best of both worlds – a scenic sandy location and easy access to Malaga’s sights.

Great Hotel, excellent location, friendly, proffesional staff and delicious food

I stayed at the hotel for a mid week just before the summer. The staff was excellent and helpfull. They never gave me the impression that something I asked for, was to much work or a strange request. I enjoy the simple extra's like a beach towel. To make it even better, the use of the pool next door would be an option. great hotel, great stay and great staff.

City break

We are actually staying in the hotel while I write this review, my wife and I have spent a very enjoyable few days here at the Vinci, there is taxi rank directly outside the hotel which wil take to to the bustle of Malaga city or you can take advantage of the laid back streets around the hotel, where you will find some top quality restaurants and bars. We found the staff very professional with dealing with all our wants, accept we mentioned we hadn’t had out toiletries etc. replenished this still hasn’t happened but this is only a small complaint. Breakfast we found exceptional, tea is rather weak for my taste, and breakfast room and patio area is very welcoming. So basically it is a very good modern hotel at a price that is affordable, located across the road from the beach.

Nice Hotel

Stayed here for one night before an early morning flight. Very nice hotel, friendly staff and great location. Right on the beach and only 10 minutes from the airport. Lots of nearby restaurants and a very walkable area.

A lovely and nice hotel

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights . We loved it . It was very clean and staffs and all services were perfect. The location was excellent and we had a very nice view of Mediterranean sea. Breakfast was also served in a nice restaurant with a warm atmosphere and lovely staff and neat services, but food was normal.
Check in and check out process was fast and reception people like most south Spain people were lovely and helpful .

Not that great, overrated and expensive

I would love for the management to stay one night at this hotel! They will see how short and rude their staff is, they would have the misfortune of experiencing how horrible and hard their beds are, and they will discover that their breakfast is so expensive and ridiculous.

We stayed here for almost a week, but only because we couldn't find other lodging during this season. The pillow menu was nice, their working AC was nice, but i have to tell you about their expensive breakfast.... They wanted 16 Euros per person, per day! Why?? We were able to walk to the beach, enjoy the fresh breeze/scenery and have the same breakfast at the Italian joint for just 2.50 Euros per person! Their bar prices were also outrageous, so we went to the convenient grocery store across from the park to get our drinks and snacks.

Parking at this hotel was also very expensive and for no reason. At 16 Euros per day, it was definitely a robbery. You have to take a taxi if you hope to get to the city, because the hotel is far away from most of the action. We made a request to have a good view, which management just ignored and stuck us on a lower floor with no views.

Overall, the hotel offers little to nothing to cater to customers and to help make our stay enjoyable and special. We know that there are better places out there, you just have to book elsewhere in advance and don't get stuck like we did.
