Anniversary trip

We had an early flight so I emailed the hotel to inform them of the nature of our visit and to see if we could drop our bags off and go exploring. Recieved a prompt email back wishing us a Happy Anniversary and yes there was baggage storage.
We took the metro from the airport 20 minutes and a cost of €3.20 each a 12 minute walk from station to hotel pretty straight forward if your Google map works.
On arrival reception was very helpful even checking if our room was ready. It wasn't so we stored our bags and went out exploring. We purchased a 48 hour tram tick from the airports information desk great price. Not difficult to get to the city centre.
We arrived back at the hotel at 1pm and was told our room was ready. Happy days.
Room was really nice room, clean and absolutely spot on for a 4 star hotel.
There's a paid mini bar but no fridge in the room. There is Coffee and tea facilities too.

The greatest surprise was a knock on the door and a tray with prosecco 2 glasses, chocolates, strawberries and a hand written card. This absolutely made my day and made the trip that little extra special.
We didn't eat at the hotel so can't review the restaurant or food.
Took a look at the Spa facilities looked very clean and well set out.
I highly recommend this hotel value for money is great.
If you're heading to the city centre and looking for something to eat try Ta Toru top floor Magna Plaza.
Can honestly say this hotel ticked all my boxes Wish we had stayed longer.

Many very central hotels are poor, pokey, and basic- this Hotel 10 mins on tram is the opposite
4 star minimum- decent modern rooms, great facilities and excellent bars and staff- good value and very helpful team
Highly recommend

Bit disappointed to be honest

After seeing the reviews on TripAdvisor we were really excited about staying in the fashion hotel. It really is a lovely building, very clean and the rooms were very nice. It was a little further out of town than we thought but that wasn’t really the problem. We caught taxis as there were enough of us.
We had booked priority check-in and arrived at 1 o’clock but the rooms weren’t all ready. It took over half an hour for half the party to get booked in then we had to wait in the bar for the rest to be sorted out.
We had booked an evening meal in the hotel and to be fair to them we changed the time a couple of times, but I have to say the meal was appalling. We waited so long that I eventually gave up on my main course and went to bed. It was supposed to be à la cart but we had a choice of two things and those that waited didn’t like or eat the food. We were given complimentary cocktails which were undrinkable as they tasted powdery and chemically - the same cocktails ordered turned up one pink, one grey and one a combination of both! Our waiter was very sarky which didn’t improve things.
Lovely place but catering and service very poor!
