Great staff, nice room shame renovations happening (not known at time of booking)
Reviewed 1 week ago

The room is nice, clean, bed very comfortable.

Location great, easy walking distance to all attractions.

Staff lovely, the young lady who helped with our Anne Frank and museum bookings - I came away and said to my husband ‘I hope our son (18) meets someone like her’!!

The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is: renovations and some may find it a tad embarrassing using the loo in the room not much privacy!

Good location

While this hotel is in a great location for exploring the city, especially the museum quarter. Personally, I was not impressed with the room. While it was clean, the shampoo/lotion/body gel etc. were not refilled once during our 4 day visit and were empty on day 1. Since I had brought my own, I didn't inform the staff. Room was clean, bathroom area was not impressive. Staff was helpful and friendly. We did not eat in the hotel or use the bar area as there are so many options within a quick walking distance.

Very good value for money

I like this hotel for its excellent location and good rooms. To be fair, we had one of the suites on the corner of the building with a great view and large space. Nevertheless, I think it is representative for all rooms which are very decent. Well equipped for a 4 star hotel. Service was at moments not great, but they did their best. Breakfast is very good and generous, and served in MOMO restaurant. A lovely Japanese fusion restaurant connected to the hotel.

A good option but..

The hall is very nice, room not so good; breakfast too expensive for the service; Momo restaurant is really avesome! Services, like taxi, luggage management and bike rent are in line with the category of the hotel, location is really ok.

Not impressed

This placed is in need of a facelift in the common areas. Our room was less than desirable for what we paid. Big room, tiny window, in need of a place to put our luggage other than on the floor. Bathroom shower floor ,,,, slippery. For seniors, dangerous. I felt I was in a skating ring all time. Plenty of space but no safety bars.
