If you’re taking a trip to the beautiful city of Amsterdam, you’re wise to choose the Park Hotel as your base. A modern and hip boutique hotel, perched on the outer periphery of the city’s world famous Canal Ring, this stay is stone’s throw from the city’s top attractions, renowned shopping locations and finest museums. Enjoy spacious accommodation and a superb level of comfort and service, to boot.
The designs of architect duo B&K enrich the public and private rooms and endow them with a sense of urbane style, from the oversized Missoni sofas in the living room to the black-tiled bathrooms and rainforest power showers. The bar serves delicious wines and liquors throughout the day and MOMO – one of Amsterdam’s finest and hippest dining establishments – offers an expertly prepared menu of Pan Asian cuisine.
How to Get There
The location is great: it is close to a beautiful park and Rijksmuseum. Rooms are well maintained and clean, breakfast quality is good and lobby bar has quite a large selection of drinks with friendly personnel. Overall good hotel but yet, for the price proposed I was expecting and looking for an outstanding aspect somewhere which I did not found.
This hotel is great. Perfect location overlooking canal, Hard Rock Cafe and boat trips. The restaurants and bars are 5 mins walk away, had a gorgeous Dutch meal at The Pantry.
The staff are helpful and the beds are the comfiest I’ve ever slept in , in a hotel.
We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were really friendly, we were even given a glass of prosecco when we arrived. The location is great, we were never more than 30 minutes walk away from anything we wanted to see (which is fine when you stop off at shops/pubs/coffeeshops in-between). There is a huge choice of restaurants nearby, we didn't try the one at the hotel so can't comment on that. The whole hotel is stylish and modern, perfectly clean with comfortable beds. The shower is really nice and powerful and large size toiletries are provided - just ensure that you are comfortable with the person you are sharing the room with as the toilet and showers are basically like cubicles in the room! One thing to mention is they do take a deposit of $150 when you arrive which I don't remember seeing when I booked but it is refundable (apart from the city tax). The minibar is expensive also but that is typical of hotels I've stayed in before. I would recommend this hotel to everybody visiting Amsterdam.
