Fab Hotel stay
Reviewed 10 hours ago

Hotel was stylish and modern very smart looking inside and out. Clean, inside and in the rooms. Rooms had a tv, fridge, nice decoration and a massive bed aswell as luxury items such as white company shampoo, shower gel etc. They also left us some bottles of water which was nice to have when we arrived.
There was a lovely drawn map of amsterdam on the wall which i loved and thought was really useful. Shower leaked slightly which was a downside and our room was next to a very noisy staff area so I believe. Checked in easily although the lady did say normally check in wouldnt be till 3pm however this was not advertised anywhere at all and was lucky she let us in anyway or i would not have been happy at all. Breakfast was lovely very good quality and plenty to eat. Staff were friendly and helpful. We could leave our bags with them on the day we checked out which was also helpful. I was so happy with our stay for the price we paid via an amazing deal on lastminute.com. the hotel really was of high quality minus the very few faults we had. Hotel is very central a lovely area and you can walk everywhere from its location. Overall amazing stay and have recommended to family and friends with the deal.

This was an excellent hotel in a great central location. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast.

The room was a little bit small to find a location for luggage but was excellent in all other ways.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I would definitely be a return customer.

It was easy walking to the railway station and to sights around the city

Good Location - Don’t Bother With Requests
Reviewed 3 days ago

I booked on 1/12/18 and requested a high floor not near the lift. We got a third floor, next to the lift. After we asked to be moved, we ended up on the ground floor with a very ‘romantic’ view.
The young guy on reception kept saying they hadn’t had the request yet I’d asked twice.
Nothing in the room bar except water in a plastic bottle. Storage is a problem. Tiny robe and a couple of shelves. Shower good and bed is comfy.
It’s handy for the 9 Streets too. The tram stop for further afield is almost outside the door.
Our keys stopped working on the third day and no turn down service on the third night. Husband said his bar snack was very good.
Overall - style over substance.

another great stay, from the quick check in, great upgrade to a junior suite on the second floor, huge soft bed, fast wifi, nice touch a small bottle of white wine cooled waiting, big shower. breakfasts are great, fresh juices, perfectly made soft eggs, and more. lobby bar is great for drinks and cocktails. tried the resturant pressroom on this stay was excellent. the staff realy tries to help out whereever they can, friendly and more. check out even faster the check in. not to forget the superb good capuccino, still can feel the taste

Very likeable and funky hotel with a laid back but edgy environment

This Hotel ticked a lot of boxes for me. Good feel, good environment, relaxed, good bar and restaurant and lounge area. Service was faultless and all employees seemed to enjoy working there and were extremely helpful in any circumstance. Cleanliness was excellent. Great location near the main train station, and the light rail system which runs past the front of the hotel is so easy to use that you really should never need to use a car in Amsterdam. As always I am reviewing European accomodation as a long haul traveller with quite a bit of luggage and my only negative was that the hotel room (deluxe) felt pretty small even the open bathroom and as per a lot of places there just never seems to be enough room to store your cases. I'm also not afan of open bathrooms so everyone else can watch... but maybe thats my age. Would definitely stay again and look for a larger room than deluxe.
