How to Get There
Came here last week for 3 nights it’s a lovely hotel the beds are soooo comfy and the rooms are warm! Tram 4 to get you to the centre or the station is just around the corner. Would come here again even if we did get stuck in the lift on our first night😂
I stayed three nights at the Nicolaas Witsen Hotel and would stay again. The rooms are clean and well kept. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and approachable. The price was very good. The location was just a short 5 minute walk from the Vijzelgracht Metro Station (line 52). There are plenty of restaurants and stores around. And I found it to be a perfect, central location for exploring. Nice job, Nicolaas Witsen!
We stayed at this hotel from December 6 to 10 (4 nights). The service we received was first rate (staff even anticipated several of our needs and interests, without being intrusive). The breakfast selection is excellent, including available choices of hot items. The room was somewhat small (though not tiny), but the layout maximized the space available, and it was clean.
The hotel is well-situated for sight-seeing in Amsterdam, as it is in the southern canal area, in short walking distance to trams. At the end of our stay, we flew out of Schiphol Airport, taking the taxi from the hotel to the airport: the hotel's location made the commute to the airport fairly straight-forward.
The room rate is non inexpensive, however it is in line with prices of other 3-star hotels in Amsterdam. In this context, the hotel was good value for money. If we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Located in a nice and quiet street, literally 10 minutes walk from the center.
No need for public transport.
Also 10 mins walk to the museum square.
The room was small but nice, so was the bathroom with shower and all the amenities.
Breakfast is good and reasonably priced considering that Amsterdam is quite an expensive city.
Bed is overall comfortable but the edges are very soft so if you sit on the edge it is likely that you will slip off it.
Shower curtain needs a good bleach (or replacing) as well as the tiles in the bottom of the shower.
No fridge nor safety box.
Stayed for 3 nights, enjoyed the stay!
it is located in a very convenient location, 30 -40 minutes drive from the Schoenefeld airport, Amsterdam. walking distance to the street markets, pubs, red light area.
Hotel offers super fast Wifi connectivity, tea coffee making, TV & private bathroom.
Breakfast spread is good, service of the restaurant staff is fantastic & serves the guests with full enthusiasm & energy.
I definitely recommend to any traveler.
