Cute hotel in great location

Cute little boutique hotel in a great location. You are right in the fashion and museum districts with easy access into town via the tram; tickets for which you can buy at the hotel which was so convenient. Rooms were clean, comfortable and bigger than I thought they would be. Very helpful staff, nice little bar and lounge area. The lift's a little outdated but overall I really enjoyed my time here and would stay again.

Terrific boutique hotel near museums and shopping

This is an excellent hotel with a terrific staff and a great location. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with fine amenities and reasonable prices on a quiet street. The hotel is located 2 blocks from a major tram line, 2 blocks from the Van Gogh museum, 4 blocks from the Rijksmuseum, and 2 blocks from an area of high-end fashion shopping. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size for European hotels. The beds were quite comfortable. All the front desk staff spoke English and were very responsive to our requests. They provided us with a map and good directions, recommended a variety places to dine among the many near-by restaurants, and also sold us tram tickets.

Small room very poor breakfast but great location

Excellent location BUT very very poor breakfast for the paid for in advance and very small room again paid for in advance for a Superior Double room - it really was not superior and we could see from outside the building larger rooms but we were given a standard double and most disappointing breakfast - instant coffee, unripe melon poor quality breads and pastries nothing really fresh all re heated in the galley kitchen. The staff on the first and second day were great but not on the last two days - one even said you will need to leave by 12 pm(!) rude really. However so close to the museums which is why we were there and great surrounding area near to everything. Trams were great too.
