Stayed here for two nights. Arrived early left our luggage at hotel desk. Had the whole day looking around Amsterdam. Arrived back at hotel late afternoon room was ready. Room was clean plenty of space great shower very clean. Next day spent the day again seeing the sights of Amsterdam arrived back at hotel at 4.30pm and room had not been cleaned. Rang desk for clean towels and shampoo etc. Left room at 5.30pm arrived back 11.30 pm and room still not been cleaned so now we have two lots of towels in bathroom wet. Not impressed with there housekeeping. Check out next day to go back home mentioned about our room while checking out and the young girl offered us a cup coffee at bar. We said no she turned round to mention it to Alex’s who was manager of reception well what a attitude I felt it was all my fault that my room was not cleaned. Would I stay there again no. It’s a shame as all the staff at bar, corsage and general staff where friendly very good advice on restaurant from corsage big thank you for that.

Arrived at Marriott from early morning flight from UK and was able to check-in before normal check in time. Process was fuss-free - Had an executive suite with twin double beds. My only bug-bear is there was only one chair and table. Given the room was suitable for a family, the furniture was sparse. However, the open wardrobe, coffee, iron and board, fridge supplies - excellent.

Very disappointed - watch out !!!

Stayed at the Marriott for 1 night on Saturday 2nd November
Had pre-paid for my room through a 3rd party website and that was fine but receptionist asked for a credit card for any purchases I might make during my stay
I had stupidly forgotten my credit card so the receptionist explained that she could take a debit card and that €75 would be taken from my account and after check -out if no charges had been accrued my account would be immediately refunded
My account was debited €75 and I am still waiting for it to be refunded ??
I phoned the hotel on Monday night and was told by Hildegarde that there was nothing she could do ? And to email the hotel and they would send to the reception to sort out - sent email to the one Hildegarde gave me Amsterdam.guest@marriott.com - NO REPLY - not even to say “ we will get this sorted “
Still waiting for my refund - won’t stay with Marriott again I don’t think !!!
