How to Get There
Our room was a balcony suite with a full view of the ocean. It was too beautiful for
words. I woke up early just to catch the sunrises. The Inn itself is lovely. The lounge
areas, the roof top lounge inside and out are really nice. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The breakfast is one of the best. Made to order eggs, waffles and more. Parking is more than easy and adequate. It is also right next to a nice restaurant bar,The Sandbar Grill. I will be coming again in the summer with the grandkids. Inn employees Will and Joanne were exceptional. Nice and helpful at all times. In my book the Seaside Amelia Inn rates an "11".
My wife and I stayed here one night. Hotel is one building off the beach. Free-o on site parking. Hotel is nice and clean with a beachy theme. Our room was small but comfortable even though really too small for all our luggage. We have been traveling for over 2 weeks. The bathroom was small with only a shower. The walls are not insulated and my wife heard a baby crying and a dog barking in the middle of the night. I had no problems. Bed was comfortable. Room had a little street side balcony. Some street noise. Also a cool roof deck overlooking the ocean. Included breakfast was custom and definitely unique since most other included meals were buffet. Hotel was 4 miles from town so I would suggest taking the car. Town is beautiful and quaint. I would recommend this Inn. Staff was friendly.
We Enjoyed everything about our stay. The room may not have faced the ocean but the service, breakfast and the walk out to the beach made everything great. We will be back. This is peaceful place to get away and unwind.
The "Ocean View Studio" is a partial view and their "queen" bed is a full. What you purchase is not what you get. Also, our "Ocean View Studio" did not have a balcony or the ability to open the windows so we couldnt even hear the water. I wont be returning to Seaside Inn.
We were on the way back from Florida and went to check out Amelia Island, we loved this Inn, we were in room 227 with 4 windows and a view of the ocean. Rooms were on the smaller side, but we were very comfortable and slept well.
The breakfast was delicious, I Had a made to order omelet, my husband had pancakes, they had fresh fruit, yogurts, fresh juices, breads, and the breakfast were made to order. Please tip the lady who cooks your breakfast....she deserves it...oh and the coffee was very good....nice flavor, not weak...oh and the parking was safe and the roof top porch has a nice view, upon arriving they had water and fresh chocolate chip cookies, loved all the real plants, not fake, and the local art on the walls....
