2nd time spending anniversary here

We recently spent our 28th at Elizabeth Point Lodge. We splurged on the Tradewinds room because 5 years ago our stay was so fabulous in the Lodge that we thought the Tradewinds room would be over the top. Thanks to EPL for complimentary champagne and the view from the room IS awesome, but it seemed a bit dated. The air conditioning duct dripped condensation right in the middle of the king sized bed and when we alerted staff at check out all we got was basically a "sorry about that". I think ownership has changed since we stayed there 5 years ago and everything then was fabulous. This time the "happy hour" was mediocre meat balls and cheese cubes and the breakfast, instead of freshly prepared foods and buffet, was stale bacon and way over done eggs Benedict. It just seemed there was a lot of cost cutting and honestly, at the prices of rooms here, they shouldn't need to be cutting overhead. Don't know that we will return.

Rey nice, relaxing stay

At the recommendation of friends we stayed for a weekend at Elizabeth Pointe Lodge. I’m undergoing medical treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and needed to get away and relax. We did nothing but sit on the beach and veranda and read and enjoyed the views and beautiful weather. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the food was very fresh and excellent quality. The chef was very personable and willing to make whatever we requested. The room was very nice as well. I have no complaints with our stay at all. We already have reservations for our next visit in three weeks.

Great visit...wonderful location. terrific staff wanted to please us at every turn.
