Wonderful trip!!

This is the loveliest inn in the most relaxing place!! My daughter and I went with a couple of friends and stayed in the cottage. The accommodations were cozy and very clean. The breakfasts were great and they have wine happy hour in the evenings. The staff was very helpful with suggestions of things to do and were all extremely friendly! If you want a relaxing vacation where you can sit on the beach and read your book, play in the water or just sit in the porch in a rocking chair listening to the ocean, this is your place! We will definitely be back!

Great stay on the beach

I really enjoyed my stay here. Though there is a very touristed area just up the beach, the property is still quiet and the beach isn't too crowded. Definitely choose an oceanfront upper level room! The breakfast was good and you can order eggs cooked to order. Definitely move the chairs and the umbrellas closer to the surf as they are set up well back in the dunes. And the housekeeping staff were super - very clean rooms and nice people. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the beds are just okay and the sheets and pillows are below the quality I would expect for a Conde Nast recommended property: I had to ask to have the sheets switched out because they were so pilled and the pillows are very flat. An upgrade on the bedding would bring this property up a lot in my book. Location-wise, it is a 2 mile trip into town where there are so many restaurant choices and nice shopping. It was an easy drive but in the heat of the summer, too far to walk. Lyft is available on the island in case you don't want to drive and was better and cheaper than the local cab service.

We enjoyed our visit and excellent service. Breakfasts were great. We stayed on site for evening dinners. Good selection. Inn located conveniently to town and attractions. Staff assisted with spa reservations. Looking forward to staying again when in the area.

Quiet and beautiful spot with lovely beach

My husband had a conference at the Ritz-Carlton, but we were too late to get the conference rate and their rack rate was way beyond his conference budget. So we decided to check out Elizabeth Pointe and were delighted. Breakfast hours from 7-10 meant we could dine together first thing in the morning -- then he headed off to his conference and I took my coffee and my reading out to the porch. The beach is WONDERFUL for walking, the swimming in the ocean was delightful. And instead of being packed like sardines at the Ritz, we could enjoy a beach umbrella for two placed at some distance from our fellow guests. I enjoyed the happy hour each evening -- wine, beer and cheese or some warm appetizers are included, along with the breakfast. It was fun to meet the other guests and swap tales, including comparing notes on the nearby (and excellent) restaurant options. What could have been a very run-of-the-mill experience turned out to be quite special.

Great service, disappointing room

Spent five nights at Elizabeth Pointe. The staff was very very accommodating but room had a bad mildew odor and window couldn't be opened. Room layouts are odd with TV cable running under the rugs. Time for owner to renovate the rooms.
