How to Get There
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the start of November. From our arrival to our departure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we were also lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a suite. Throughout our stay staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us umbrellas in the rain and suggesting what we could do for the day. Villa Piedimonte has fantastic views and a great location with just a short walk into Ravello. Parking is secure and breakfast was excellent which were bonuses too. Would definitely recommend staying here!
I would recommend this hotel. I have stayed at more expensive hotels in Ravello but I prefer Piedmonte. The views from the rooms and the breakfast area are stunning. The location below the town square is great as you walk downhill after dinner.
My husband and I stayed at Villa Piedimonte for 2 nights in early October. This was our favorite hotel during our entire stay in Amalfi Coast. We had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. We loved sitting on our hotel room patio overlooking the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
STAFF: All the staff we encountered were very friendly and so helpful. The front desk / concierge we worked with were very eager to help us book transportation, book restaurant reservation, and provide recommendations on things to do. We are especially grateful to Fabrizio who was so kind to us and very helpful in planning our itinerary.
Rooms: Very clean and modern. This is a newer hotel by Amalfi Coast standards so the rooms are updated and very comfortable. The patio views are breathtaking
FOOD: The continental breakfast in the morning was plentiful and had a number of delicious options. Definitely grab a table on the patio if you can so you can enjoy breakfast while looking out at the beautiful views.
Things to do: Ravello is a lovely, charming town with great restaurants, sightseeing, and culture. It was my favorite city on the Amalfi Coast and I hope to be back again soon. It is a nice, peaceful getaway that is perched high on a hill which discourages large busloads of tourists which was a refreshing change of pace coming from Positano and Capri.
Recommendations: Villa Cimbrone - lovely garden with stunning views, Mimi Bar - delicious pizza and great wine selection (make reservations ahead of time), and Cumpa' Cosimo - simple family run Italian restaurant with good food. If you are looking to splurge, stop by Belmond Hotel Caruso for drinks.
This hotel is brilliant! The view from the hotel is absolutely amazing! Local buses leave from 5 minutes away and are very cheap! Francesca at reception is very helpful. I would definitely recommend it! It's more like a 5*!🙂
We just spent five delightful nights at Villa Piedimonte. We had a comfortable room with a private balcony and incomparable view. Sunrise in the AM and full moon at night. The staff was delightful and helpful with good recommendations for restaurants and activities. Breakfast each morning had good variety and fabulous pastries. The hotel is a quick walk to the main square or hourly transport is available in a vintage 1966 Fiat van.
