How to Get There
I was a little worried about this hotel from some of the negative reviews on here about rude staff, cleanliness, and noise, but they couldn't be more wrong! The staff here is so friendly and accommodating. The drinks at the bar are made with fresh juice and are so so good. The room is super clean and beautiful. The bed is a little hard and yes there is some construction noise but it is not that bad! The hot tub in our room is the best and is placed where you can enjoy the view as well. Great place to stay!
bathrooms need work as they haven't been renovated in a while. we had ants/bugs in several places. the front of the hotel was very cool as was the art motif. we had a room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. the front desk/wait staff were really good.. breakfast was just 'okay'. I was gouged by my travel agent, paying $500/night vs the $200/night that the hotel would have charged. (my fault not their's)
We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of February. A lot of Positano was closed but it was still a beautiful place. The reception staff were very helpful organising restaurants for us including pick up. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were fine. The breakfast was plentiful with very nice cappuccino. Overall I would stay again.
My wife, daughter, partner and I recently stayed at the Positano Art Hotel and found it to be a very pleasant hotel. Unfortunately, they are currently undergoing renovations and on our first night/morning we experienced some degree of noise, however, upon talking with reception were able to move to another room away from the majority of the noise.
The staff were friendly and helpful and even baked us a free cake to celebrate our daughters birthday as there was very few shops open due to the winter shutdown.
The hotels location was excellent with terrific views overlooking the sea.
FIrst of all there is NOTHING cheap in this area, so brace yourself. However, the money that I spent here for one nights accomodation was well worth it. The staff was SO friendly and accomodating. The room had an amazing view. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast food was astounding. By far one of the best places to while visiting this quaint little town.
