How to Get There
Everything was perfect from the moment we stepped into Hotel Villa Gabrisa. Very kind and helpful staff who are always smiling and ensuring your maximum satisfaction during your stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated with absolutely stunning views. Complimentary breakfast was great, coffees were perfect and I will definitely come back as I highly recommend this place! Special thanks to Gabriele (the owner) who showed professional hospitality and always at our disposal!
Great hotel. We had the most amazing view. We visited in the off season so not much was open, but luckily this hotel stays open year round. They have an amazing complementary breakfast that has the best cappuccinos!
Some places remain with us after leaving them. One for sure is Positano and its tranquility during the time I did chose to visit. It was November last year. It was raining a little but this didn't stop me to be walking all the time. Positano is singular and Villa Gabrisa was the right place for me. My room on the 3rd floor was small but with a beautiful view, very nice toiletries, good breakfast, and nice staff (I'll never forget some members of the front desk: the Italian young girl, the kindness of the Russian and the lady from New Zealand). I'll definitely return someday to Villa Gabrisa.
Gorgeous views from the hotel - they have outdoor seating, but you can also enjoy the views from the indoor restaurant. We were greeted warmly when we arrived - they gave us a welcome prosecco drink as well as a welcome bottle of prosecco in our room! Pretty much the best way to start any hotel stay!! The room was #307 - outdoor patio area offering beautiful views, clean room, sufficient toiletries like hair conditioner, slippers, etc. Service was excellent at breakfast - it was my birthday and the woman who made the cappuccino each morning sang happy birthday and had the most beautiful voice! The breakfast was simple, but sufficient - the croissants were one of the best we've had and I also loved the cheesecake. They also offer cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs. The staff was also helpful - the person who covered the evening shift gave us great pointers for the 'path of the gods' hike which was very helpful! The cons would be that the wifi was weak in our room and the walls were thin since we could hear the water running in the room next door. Overall, a great stay at this hotel and we would definitely stay here again!
Apologies as this review is long overdue! We stayed for 6 days 7 nights in the Apartment which was amazing. Lots of room with your own kitchen and a patio with wonderful views that included breakfast. We ate Breakfast outside every morning enjoying our Cappuccino's, eggs, pastries, etc. and the stunning views overlooking the sea. Although there were a lot of steps to get around town, we enjoyed staying in the location we were. It was a bit more private and romantic opposed to being where all the tons of tourist were. We also were directly above the smaller beach which had a more private feel to it as well. We ate dinner twice outside overlooking the cliff first a romantic dinner for us then a dinner with 8 of us. Food was delicious, fresh with a wonderful wine list. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped with anything we needed. Don't skip this hotel and restaurant!
