How to Get There
We loved our stay at Covo dei Saraceni. We booked in June for a Sept vacation (ie. very late) but were lucky to find availability and a pretty good deal for our stay including breakfast. I think we booked the last room, and I think it was the worst room in the house, and we still enjoyed it! That is saying something! The service was great, but the pools are what really stuck out. We originally were a bit worried about the location being by the ferry dock and noisy but the location was perfect for us. You are right on the water and beach. And very close to many food options. I had an injured foot for our vacation so the location couldn't have worked out better. I highly recommend Covo and if we make it back to Positano, I would stay again.
Perfect beach level hotel in Positano, that boasts two rooftop outdoor pools that overlook the Positano hillside. The hotel has a restaurant with excellent food equipped with indoor and outdoor seating. Follow the cliff walk at the doorway of the hotel to other private beaches and restaurants. All rooms are equipped with a small private balcony. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.
Position position position - really doesn’t get any better - views are stunning, Hotel is very stylish, Italian and ornate. We went for a mini suite - with our own mini-pool - and had a huge room, king bed and massive balcony over looking the whole beach. Breakfast was buffet and traditional - very filling - and again over looking the beach. Roof top pool was sub-lime. Everything was fantastic (including a breakfast birthday cake). Don’t expect Phillipe Starke - do expect Italian charm.
Covo was okay. I have mixed emotions about this place. It can be a little hard to get to since it all the way on the beach. Don’t over pack since you’ll have to bring your bags done stairs that can be extremely slippery surrounding this hotel.
The room was nice and extremely clean, but on the small side. The WiFi was too slow for me. They have a pool on top. As for some of the staff. It felt as if we were silently be judged since we didn’t look like we had money. I’m glad we came here, but both my wife and I found we prefer to be up high since the views were so much better.
My husband and I stayed for 4 days at the end of our honeymoon. Absolutely lovely hotel.
Our Hotel room was nice but a bit small. The private balcony overlooked the beach and water so that made up for it.
Hotel breakfast had a variety of food including omelette station and sparkling wine for mimosas.
The pool was nice and had enough spots where it didn’t get too crowded during the week. Pool bar has nice menu and tons of fun drinks and Italian classics. There’s a smaller warmer infinity pool at the back where we made some friends and relaxed the other days.
Main restaurant was lovely for dinner. Higher end so great service and not a broad menu but good food and husband found vegetarian options.
