Situated in bucolic Kensington Village, a pedestrian and bike-friendly neighborhood just across the Bow River from downtown Calgary, this Greek Revival-style 19-room charmer is filled with striking artworks and contemporary furnishings. The streamlined guest rooms come in a palette of charcoal, white, and silver with large soaking tubs and huge rain showers. In the open kitchen at the property’s restaurant, a team of talented chefs whip up dishes like miso-cured local salmon and wild boar with winter vegetables and corn agnolotti.

How to Get There
Bed sheets not even tucked in and went to do it myself and found sheet had not even been put on correctly (?!)
Hair (not mine) in sink and bathtub
Loud hallway noise
Awakened at 7am by garbage trucks outside — hotel not full— why put a guest street side if not necessary??
And at 730am, music from hotel restaurant below clearly heard in my room
Got about 5 hours of sleep
NOT the “luxury” boutique experience they say they offer
All aspects were f my stay well excellent. Located in Kensington/ 10th Ave. District, surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants. Large rooms and bathrooms, elegant decor, friendly bar, fine dining restaurant on site, helpful staff. No complaints. Recommended
Excellent stay, clean and friendly. I like the cozy atmosphere of the building and having the parking on site. Staff were professional and i would certainly stay here again. Great spot for other close activities.
Fantastic place for a couples getaway. The location is fantastic, modern and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a fireplace. The food and wine list are exceptional and they even hand you an actual key room key at check in!
I stayed here for one night as I was passing through Calgary after visiting the Rockies. The hotel is quite small and is very boutique. The decor & furnishings were very cool. The room I had was facing the river and city. Despite being on a main road, the traffic noise didn’t worry me and didn’t notice it all during the night. The bed was very comfortable and the gas fireplace in the room was a luxury touch. The bathroom was very nice however my one fault is that it is very dark with only one light above the mirror for a large bathroom and you are nearly showering in the dark. There are a few restaurants in the street nearby, and one within the hotel itself, however I ended up going into Downtown as had never visited Calgary and only had a few hours. There is parking downstairs underneath the building. Overall i’d happily stay here again.
