Most comfortable bed
Reviewed 3 days ago

Stayed here for 2 nights for a conference. We used their very easy self-parking option. There was no problem during the check-in. We got to our room and it was unfortunately a connecting room and we can hear noise coming from the other room. I requested we be moved and they granted my request. A bellman even helped me with my bags. The room we moved into had amazing views of the university. That night, we slept on the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept on. I would love to take it home. Air conditioning works perfectly. The microwave and fridge was very convenient. Location is great too.

Consistently great service

We always enjoy staying here when we visit auburn to see our daughter at the university. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and it is centrally located. I know it can be hard to get a room during football season but worth it.

Incredibly convenient to the university

We spent two nights during our Auburn visit with our prospective student. Access to the university and downtown shopping and restaurants is convenient and walkable from the hotel. Comfortable and nice rooms. The only problem we had was two additional restaurant charges added to our bill but they were promptly removed upon check out.

Very frustrated

I am expressing my extreme disappointment and frustration at having driven nearly six hours from FL to Auburn with our high school senior to attend the TALONS program tomorrow, only to be told (at midnight) that they overbooked. “Oops!” is NOT a good first impression.

Not only did we book our reservation many weeks ago and receive a confirmation then, but we received a second confirmation just yesterday! Even the reservations representative with whom I spoke earlier in the evening while we were en route, to advise of our late arrival, confirmed our stay.

Yesterday, I canceled the other reservation I held at an alternate hotel because we decided that we would prefer to stay here.

So, after a long drive from the next time zone over, we arrived with no explanation as to why they overbooked, and we had to go elsewhere. The same assistant I had spoken with earlier in the evening said she was unaware that they had overbooked, despite the fact we had spoken less than two hours prior.

Needless to say, this was not the way to welcome prospective college students and their families to campus.

UPDATE: They did arrange and pay for the alternate accommodations, which was the right thing to do, but I’m left with the impression that if they overbook, they must care more about the almighty dollar than attracting guests who will return in the future.

Great Hotel and location

Staying here while in town for my son’s honor band weekend. Very nice and clean with a great central location. Easy to walk to the campus at Auburn University and local restaurants. Very nice amenities. Valet and self park are available.
