How to Get There
I was very impressed with this university hotel. It truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel was bright, and all staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel is across from Auburn University and I walked around campus while I was there. Being a college town, there were excellent choices of small restaurants a few blocks from the hotel. The Italian restaurant onsite is also excellent. The hotel has a nice and clean outdoor pool that you could swim laps in. I was here for a conference and the conference rooms were nice and well equipped. Overall, I had a great experience staying at this hotel.
Upon arrival we were greeted by multiple valet parking staff. They were super nice, and answered our questions related to the price of valet vs garage ($5 difference). We explored the town a little then when we returned to valet, there was a rain storm. Again they got all of our bags out the trunk, back seat, and front while we went in, to get out of the rain. The check-in was great. Florencia was very nice, as was Tanner, who helped my handicapped mom with our luggage up to the room. Chip is the hotel restaurant’s wine connoisseur. He was well versed on the beef and wine, and could not have been nicer. Then there was Erin, our waitress. Very kind, helpful and happy to serve our table. Everyone, including the other guests were just so nice. This hotel provides true, southern hospitality and we absolutely felt warm, comfortable, and at home. Well done!!
I have stayed there several times to visit with old college friends. The location is great for a stroll through the campus. The breakfast was delicious. Would never stay anywhere else. Nice to have a first rate hotel on the campus.
