How to Get There
A business trip allowed 2 nights to open up while near Pemba and I ended up at this amazing place. The staff are all fantastic and extremely accomodating.
The room is perfect and exactly as the website suggests with a unique layout which is functional.
The food was spot on and very fresh while the restaurant and bar area are well designed and appointed. The pool is calming and relaxing and the grounds are immaculate.
It was very quiet while I was there but there are plenty of staff and the buildings are spread out so it will never feel busy.
We stayed 10 days in a suite and I must say this was one of the most perfect vacations. We had hour 10th wedding aniversairy last August and therefore we decided to book something extraordinary and I have to admit - it was worth it any second! The Suite was spacious with 3 showers (2 outside, 1 inside) and a separate toilet. The whole hotel is quite new and really modern but we really like it. The center piece is a huge pool with salty water and a building that consists of a bar, a shop and 3 restaurants. The food was AMAZING! Faisal, the chef, surprised as every day with great meal choices. At the time we where there all the people of the festive season had be gone and we were sometimes just 8-10 guests. Therefore we had most of the time a 5 course set menu which was excellent. The service was superb, thanks a lot to the entire staff. We felt so welcomed! And thank you to Sergio. You have been an amazing host. We really liked the movie with dinner night ;-)
Sorry that it took some time to give a feedback here, but I think everyone should know that this is a wonderful place.
I had an incredible time at Diamonds Mequfi. The resort exceeded my expectations. The place is truly heaven on earth. The attention to detail and the service truly one of the best. The food was amazing . I thank Sergio and all his team for making me feel special.
We had a sensational family holiday. 10 days of pure bliss in the the hot Mozambican sun. The resort is superb. The staff stood out always smiling and willing to run around just to make your stay as great as possible. Jay who manages the kids club was a true, energetic young lady whom the kids grew to really adore. And she made our holiday easier. Sergio was ever so helpful esp when we needed a doctor from Pemba who came to the resort. The villas are incredible. New and crystal clean with amazing beds. New colors of sunset every day. We also wanted to mention some incredible staff... Banana, Perito, Felix, Edmilson, Emidio, Saide, Jamal, Austian, Sumesh.
A BIG thank you to Sergio, Astian (aka Aston Martin), Elouise, Amir & your whole team @ Diamonds Mequifi. You guys absolutely rock!
The friendlyness & professionalism of your team made us feel welcome and special from the minute you greeted us at the airport, welcomed us at reception and throughout our whole stay remained consistent in providing an awesome service in everything you guys do!
The accommodation meets & exceeds your 5 star grading. The food was great....last night's seafood platter was an absolute treat, thanks Astian.
The watersport activities, horse riding, etc. kept us entertained & active throughout our stay.
Such an amazing place - Diamonds Mequifi definately rates in our Top 10 of resorts we have travelled to.
