How to Get There
We traveled to this little piece of heaven on earth in March for our engagement. There are no words to describe this place! Extremely peaceful and absolutely stunning! The rooms were stunning, and all the staff were amazing and always willing to help with absolutely anything you might need! The food was exquisite - We will never look at food the same after this trip! The water sports were a lot of fun, and enjoyed the snorkeling especially! We will go back in the blink of an eye!
Enjoyed the peaceful beach the most - and as read in previous reviews - low tide is definitely magical! ♥
We stayed 10 days in a Suite. Room and general areas were very clean, gardening was beautifully done and the overall service was great. Staff knowledge of English was between good an non-existent. This could do with some improvement. The food was, as mentioned many times before here, outstanding (with 2 or 3 smaller letdowns). As we were at no time more than 12 guests in the resort, we had all meals a la carte (by the way, a menu for Breakfast would help, as we only find out on the 3nd last day e.g. about the freshly baked waffles etc).
The only slighter negative is, that it is more a Resort at the Beach than a Beach Resort. The whole set-ups is detached from the beach itself and the Watersport Centre, which gives a feeling of "beach-life" is quite far from the resort centre itself.
The resort is absolutely beautiful, perfectly kept without losing any of the island charm. The suite is even more gorgeous than the photos on the website and can easily accommodate a family with the sofa bed that can be made up in the lounge. You can walk easily onto the beach as well as to the pool and restaurant, but the golf cart is al
A business trip allowed 2 nights to open up while near Pemba and I ended up at this amazing place. The staff are all fantastic and extremely accomodating.
The room is perfect and exactly as the website suggests with a unique layout which is functional.
The food was spot on and very fresh while the restaurant and bar area are well designed and appointed. The pool is calming and relaxing and the grounds are immaculate.
It was very quiet while I was there but there are plenty of staff and the buildings are spread out so it will never feel busy.
We stayed 10 days in a suite and I must say this was one of the most perfect vacations. We had hour 10th wedding aniversairy last August and therefore we decided to book something extraordinary and I have to admit - it was worth it any second! The Suite was spacious with 3 showers (2 outside, 1 inside) and a separate toilet. The whole hotel is quite new and really modern but we really like it. The center piece is a huge pool with salty water and a building that consists of a bar, a shop and 3 restaurants. The food was AMAZING! Faisal, the chef, surprised as every day with great meal choices. At the time we where there all the people of the festive season had be gone and we were sometimes just 8-10 guests. Therefore we had most of the time a 5 course set menu which was excellent. The service was superb, thanks a lot to the entire staff. We felt so welcomed! And thank you to Sergio. You have been an amazing host. We really liked the movie with dinner night ;-)
Sorry that it took some time to give a feedback here, but I think everyone should know that this is a wonderful place.
