Must visit!

Beautiful place, wonderful beaches, nice walks, great service and accommodations, what more to be said?
This was one of the best trips we have done and, according to our practice, there are two types of places: those we visit and those we will return to. We'll be back.

Very nice resort

The right resort to spend few days in total relax. Very quiet, privacy totally respected, very very very nice location, people professional and nice. Food and beverage are very good (considered the fact you are on a very small island with nothing around). Not easy to find better.

Azura is the real Paradise!

We loved our stay in Azura! Thanks for all the team that made our honeymoon just perfect! We will definitely stay at Azura in Tanzania as next trip! They are also making improvements on their structure. The rooms, service, food, activities were amazing! The Host Carlos treated us very well! There is nothing to complain about Azura!

The Most Relaxing
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We ended our safari with a few nights at Azura which was and ideal way to end an amazing trip. This was the most relaxing hotel. Even with not ideal weather during the beginning of the trip, the staff made the most of it. This is the kind of place where you disconnect and read a book. The wifi is spotty, which is no issue because you are in the most beautiful place.

Our room was stunning. I would love the interior of my home to look like this! Every element was put in place to enhance the relaxing experience. The little things are not to be overlooked, like the fan over your bed in the mosquito net. The bath products are lovely, we had the best smelling hand soap.

Pedro our host was so kind and accommodating. The dining room was very relaxing and comfortable. The butter art was always a lovely touch. The iced coffee in the am is not to be missed.

When the weather finally got better we did a fishing trip and a snorkel excursion and I would recommend both. Take advantage of any of the activities, while they are pricey the setting is out of this world.

I never wanted to leave and I hope to return one day.

An idyllic place to switch off and relax
Reviewed 1 month ago

My wife and I had three nights at this wonderful location and wished we had booked more. Firstly, the location with unobstructed views of the ocean, endless white sand beach in each direction with almost no people in sight is amazing. Secondly, the villa (number 8) was exceptional, having its own pool, sun deck and cabana on the beach, a large bedroom and bathroom inside and two showers outside as well, it was a perfect place to relax in seclusion. The staff, including our charming and efficient butler, Abel, looked after our every need. The food was fabulous with plenty of fresh seafood and chicken, all obtained locally and, therefore, very fresh. What is also impressive is the considerable efforts that Azura and its staff go to providing assistance to the local village, including building a school and recently completing a hospital to serve the villagers. This is a place we certainly return to, it was wonderful.
