Overview

Moorish, Red Sea sleep with four pools, topnotch eats and a lengthy activities list

The Look

This elegant hotel was built to resemble an Arabian village, with Moorish architecture and clusters of white buildings cascading down the hillside towards the beach. The garden is a true oasis in the desert, filled with palm trees and dotted with four swimming pools – including one that’s a whopping 1,000 metres square – a tennis centre, water features and shady cabanas for lounging the day away.

Bed and Bath

The spacious rooms and suites come with stunning sea or courtyard garden views, and many have a private terrace. With opulent Moorish touches in the form of sweeping archways and intricately carved grilles, all rooms come with a comfortable sitting area, a separate dressing area, TVs and CD-DVD players hidden in an attractive armoire and Nespresso machines. The large marble bathrooms have deep tubs, walk-in showers, twin sinks, lots of fluffy white towels and L’Occitane lotions and potions.

Beyond

There are a host of dining options, starting with a buffet breakfast at Arabesque. You can lunch poolside at the Gezira Pool Bar and Waha Pool Bar, while the Citadel Lounge serves light meals throughout the day. In the evening, Arabesque serves authentic Middle Eastern cuisine overlooking the Red Sea, and you’ll find delicious Italian specialities at Il Frantoio. Then relax the in art-filled Observatory Lounge, or the al fresco Nafoura lounge with a cocktail or a even smoke fruit-flavoured tobacco through a shisha pipe, while a belly dancer wiggles her hips. For the ultimate pampering session, indulge in the Egyptian Masterpiece treatment at the large spa.

In the Area

Divers and snorkellers shouldn’t miss Tiran Island or Ras Mohamed National Park, home to thousands of fish species and vibrant coral. Waterskiing, kite surfing and windsurfing are also on offer. Back on dry land, you can go quad biking in the desert or opt for a more sedate camel trek. The adventurous can climb Mount Sinai – known as Moses Mount – by moonlight, and reach the top to watch the sun rise over the incredible landscape, before visiting historic St Catherine’s Monastery. Closer to home, shop for souvenirs at SOHO Square, with its bars, cafes and outdoor stage shows.

Four Seasons; best resort I’ve ever stayed in

The four seasons went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. The service was impeccable. We went during American Thanksgiving and the resort went out of their way to help us celebrate away from home.

Classy and Modern

Very pleasant surprise for the last leg of our trip, we wanted to relax after doing our tours in Cairo, Giza and Luxor. This is an expensive hotel in Sharm El Sheik compared to the other hotels but its unique, clean, classy and modern.

This hotel is away from the main city but just next door to the airport. It’s hard not to impressed as soon as you enter the property lined with palm trees ! You enter the lobby and go “wow”. The check in staff were very courteous and friendly.

We were here for 5 nights, in a one bedroom suite with a step out pool. The restaurants located at the Hotel serve great food.

We have travelled extensively around the world, what blew us away was the level of service and the attention to detail by the staff. Some examples

My partner had the sniffles when we sat down at the Italian restaurant located at the hotel, the gentleman serving us promptly took it upon himself to bring a pot “ginger and lemon” tea along with honey

Our electric toothbrush was flashing as it needed to be re-charged the staff had placed a set of toothbrush for us

The staff at the beach knew exactly what our habits were from the previous day and made sure we were taken care of

The service at this hotel was impeccable , and worth every penny you pay. We were pampered and kept in luxury every day.

OUTSTANDING in every aspect

You cannot do better than the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh!! Service is beyond compare, and the food is outstanding. We spent 6 nights there in mid-November 2018 and cannot wait to get back. The beach is great, the pool and spa are also very first class.
