Sale format

Sales last 5 - 7 days, or until sold out, and are centered around one particular destination, theme or brand. Users can typically select from a variety of room types at different price points, so every budget can be accommodated. Use the calendar tool to select the dates you're interested in. If a date comes up at a premium price, that's indicated by a shaded area in the corner of the calendar box.

Rates are only good during the sale, so be sure to book before it's over. If a sale passes you by or you don't make a decision in time, you can be placed on the Wait List. Sometimes additional rooms for your dates become available in which case you'll be notified.

Jetsetter membership

Jetsetter is a members-only site. That means sales are not available to the general public. Membership is completely free and sales have no additional fees from us.

All Gilt members are Jetsetter members and vice versa. Read on to find out how to invite friends to join Jetsetter and receive account credits, just like you do with Gilt.

How do I invite a friend to become a member of Jetsetter?

Jetsetter membership is free and by invitation only. To invite a friend, simply click on the button or box marked INVITE FRIENDS at the top of the screen. Enter up to five email addresses and we'll send a Jetsetter invitation for you. When a new member makes their first purchase with us, you'll get a $25 credit added to your account.

If your friend is already a Gilt member, we'll let them know that they're already automatically a Jetsetter member and can log in with their Gilt password. Since these friends are already Jetsetter members, you won't be eligible for the $25 credit.

What is Hold? How do I use it?

If you need additional time to think about a purchase, try using the Hold feature. Since sales run for a limited time and can sell out, Hold enables you to reserve a room for the dates you want. Simply go to the sale page, select your dates, and click Hold. Pay 10% of your trip's cost, and you can hold the inventory for an additional 72 hours (3 days) after the end of the sale. If you choose to follow through with your purchase, simply pay the remaining balance before the Hold expires. If you decide not to buy, you'll get the deposit returned to you as an account credit for your next Jetsetter purchase.

My account

Use the My Account tab at the top of the page to see your Jetsetter activity. You can see orders you've placed as well as any Wait Lists you're currently on. You can also see if you have any current account credits, change your contact information, update your credit card, and change your password.

What is the Jetsetter seal of approval?

Our seal of approval shows you that a member of our team has visited the property and we stand fully by our representation of it. Our writers and editors will let you know what a hotel or resort is really like and why it's worthy of being visited by a Jetsetter.

Cancellation policy

We work hard to get members access to exclusive deals that can't be found elsewhere. As a result, after purchase we cannot allow cancellations, refunds, exchanges, or any date modifications for any reason. You will always be prompted to sign off on these cancellation policies prior to making your purchase. We make this easy by requiring an electronic check-mark next to the policy before you buy.

Pricing & tax policy

Generally, our prices are 30 - 50% off the best available rates out there. All taxes and additional fees will be shown as you process your order. Properties will ask for a credit card upon check-in for any incidental charges not included in your order.

Payment & confirmation

Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. After your purchase, we'll send a purchase receipt email so that you'll know that your order has been received successfully. Within 48 hours of the conclusion of the sale, we'll send a second confirmation email with a hotel reservation number for that particular property.

Can I book the same rates directly with the hotel if I mention Jetsetter?

The only place you can get a Jetsetter deal is on the Jetsetter website. No other website or hotel will have the same offer. And while mentioning our name may sound cool, it won't score you the deals you see here. That's the bad news. The good news is that you are here, which means you can make your purchase directly through jetsetter.com and enjoy the savings.
