Terry’s Background
Born in Washington, D.C., Terry has been based in Florida since university but has lived in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, France and Morocco during the last 12 years. She speaks four foreign languages (Spanish, French, Dutch and German, in addition to English) and her hobbies include scuba diving and making jewelry. Out of college, she worked as a copy writer in an advertising agency, but a year-long adventure in Australia (where she had stints as a server in a Moroccan restaurant and a cocktail waitress at a casino) ruined her on office jobs forever. She's been working as a freelance writer since 2001.

Do you book flights or rental cars or make other reservations for things like events, tour guides, restaurants and spas?
Sorry, we currently only book hotels, cruises and tour packages. While we don't book flights, cars, events, restaurants and spas, our Travel Experts can provide great recommendations for these, based on their personal experience and your interests. Once we've made your hotel reservations, we'll connect you with a hotel concierge who can assist with these types of reservations.

What happens if I am not satisfied with the service?
We want you to be completely satisfied. Just email us if you're not satisfied with the first Expert you speak to, and you can work with a second Expert at no additional fee.

How much time do I get from the Expert?
Our Experts spend one to three hours of time on your consultation. This is generally enough time to plan a trip of up to 10 days and up to three destinations. Special pricing is available for trips that require additional planning; email expert@jetsetter.com for a price quote. Your time with the Expert includes an optional 30-45 minute call and two to three follow-up emails. A Jetsetter booking specialist will then work with you to book the hotels or tour packages you decided on.

Do I get discounted Jetsetter rates on all the hotels I book through you?
If your travel dates are different from the dates available through a Jetsetter sale, we may not be able to get you the same deep discounts that you get during a Jetsetter sale. We can also help you book hotels outside the Jetsetter network, but we may not be able to get the special rates or benefits you can get at a Jetsetter property.
